an atlantis was found.. just north of cuba in the 60s.. pyramids and a well defined city structure… however they were not allowed to continue exploring due to castro’s interference… and then there was the MASSIVE grid structure that google maps REMOVED from their database near the canary islands.. i wonder how many other antediluvian cities await when we explore the ocean floor
Many more than two explanations exist for the flood myth. If you can get beyond the label “creationist” scientist, I suggest reading the works of Donald Patten, most available on line for free. Patten writes science, but calls himself a creationist. His books, however, have zero creationism in them, and all science. They take works such as Velikovsky’s Worlds in Collision and add scientific explanations of how things could have happened. And unlike most books of this kind, Patten includes lots of diagrams and descriptions of how physical events in planetary orbits can actually happen.
Can someone please explain the value of this research to me, in reply.
Because, to me, this seems like a massive waste of time, resources and human potential. How does this study advance the human experience and make life better for humans alive today? - in this reality.
These 'scientists' from Texas have nothing better to do than draw foregone conclusions from questionable data - for what purpose? Can their data be used in 'predictive modeling' or avoidance strategy?
We know humans have an impact on the environment - we know this and have known nearly forever, the nature and results of those impacts.
Some might argue that "we need to know the details of those impacts, to avoid them today" Too little, too late, and too lame of a reply.
I mean, the rain forest is collapsing for the want of Nutella, oceans are dying, an elephant dies every 15 minutes and tigers are nearly extinct...
...and these big heads are looking to do what?
Why not study the effects of large cities on the environment?...TODAY! Work towards solutions for the biggest problems a study of that type might reveal.
Science as it is today, seems to have lost its way
Scientists today seem to be nothing more than corporate shills and government trolls - lying in Journals and 'studies'; making up facts as they go roaming the world, looking to prove their own value to the rest of us.
IMO, the ego and ignorance that many scientists live in today, defeats any attempt to expunge knowledge; useless or otherwise.
Its sad when people in power try to corner and control a country through religion. Especially when, as in this case, the attempt at manipulation is so blatant and transparent.
--- Atlantis is everywhere expect where Plato wrote that the Egyptians pointed to. It almost seems a need for Atlantis to not be in the Atlantic. This, to me, is the interesting bit. A real psychological barrier.
--- Also, Plato wrote that the Greeks were not aware of Atlantis, so they had no context for association, as in describing a known historical place and culture. They were also credited with destroying the Atlantis navy, and having forgotten the victory.
--- The suggestion that the ' continent ' refers to the Greek navy just seems silly. I don't know where Atlantis was, if it ever was, but I think that the best place to look is where it was claimed to be. The fist problem is ' The Pillars ". They are assumed to be the gate to the Atlantic. Accepting that, Draw a line through from Greece ( or Egypt ? ), and you get to the Bahamas and Cuba, a large island, or there about. Perhaps a clue? Of course, it may also be referencing the British Isles. Traces of hope, around the big void where we dare not look.
People like to idolize native societies and equate them to paradise on Earth .. but many if not most of them where much closer to hell .. rigid social structures, sharply hierarchical cast systems, absolute monarchical rule, inbreading and marriage arraingments etc. not all of them deserve to be preserved outside of a museum.

This looks like a modern rendition of the cross of Saint Bridget, which combines her traditional symbolism with the circle of St. Patrick’s cross.
If you're in a car, don't miss several nearby small sites, such as Labna, with it's unique arch.
I don't know anything about Tibetan Budhism but as Jesus told Nicodemus, the spirit goes where it will... (Not where China wants it to go)
