Have you ever heard of the Lost City, or Ciudad Perdida, high up in Colombia's isolated Sierra Nevada mountain range? This remarkable 500-year-old city was built by the Tayrona people and is estimated to have housed around 2,000 to 3,000 people at its peak. Despite its significance, the Lost City was only discovered by archaeologists in recent decades after being looted for its gold.

Today, archaeologists continue to explore this dense jungle to uncover the mysteries of this lost civilization. The terrain is treacherous, and the work is grueling, but digital technology is helping them to reveal more and faster than ever before. This is a story of adventure, history, and discovery, as archaeologists work to piece together the lives of the Tayrona people and unravel the secrets of the Lost City.
