Bill Maher has a collective thought process that's more dangerous than Bible or Koran. For an example, in his eyes, half of the United States population that voted should be removed. How does that merge humanity?  Which was the point.

    Your quote

“Not only is the Quran from Hell, but its predecessors as well”

Do you note any parallels in history?

You do not think Christianity veered off course a few times? Or the human reason Christ was executed in the first place? Religion or a better humanity only reaches its light when it has no hate.

    Respect to all

It is a higher authority of moral ism from above, within etc.  Where do you get your morals? The state?  It is when this fundamentalism takes away individual(s) thought, it becomes a loss to all humanity.

I find this very disturbing on a number of levels and it is telling that these scientists had to move their labs to China to do this work.. It is one thing to use parts of an existing animal, e.g. pig heart valves, in medical procedures. It is another to artifically produce a new type of partially human animal for the specific purpose of using its organs. Rather than producing the animal for its organs, perhaps just figure out how to produce the organ itself from cells of the patient who needs the organ so there is no rejection problem and no issue with the “human” rights of any partially human chimera which is created.

If god banned pork because of parasites, why in the h-ll didnt he ban all death. And if a god was all knowing, he wouldn't have to test people whether they loved him or not. And if he was all loving, he wouldn't have allowed those who 'choose him' to ever feel pain.

But what about before 6000 BC? Who lived in Egypt then? Nobody, apparently, which makes no sense given the Neolithic revolution was well underway in the Fertile Crescent. Indeed, a 9,000 year old ‘mega-site’ has recently been revealed near Jerusalem. See my book Prehistory Decoded for a likely solution to this conundrum, and also find out who probably built the Great Sphinx.

they came from India. all the stone working technology came from there. the word nile means blue in Sanskrit, hence Blue Nile, a redundancy. they still build teak ocean going ships to the original pattern in Kerala.

Sigh! So many questions, so few definitive answers. One thing we do know for certain – groups of people countless years ago saw the need to move very heavy rocks and place them in specific places. Whether they were moved because of their desire to track the seasons, or their need to observe or worship something, they believed it important enough to do it.

So many ancient constructions make me believe that our ancient ancestors utilized very different methods (call them technologies if you will) to accomplish things that we do not understand and cannot duplicate even with our supposed ‘superior’ knowledge and capabilities.

I’ve often wondered why the earlier peoples in that region are so rarely discussed. I guess the ‘official’ line there has so long ignored the pre-dynastic times they think it’s of no importance.  It seems to me that if we’re ever to really solve the ‘who built it’ question, the answers are much farther back in time.  That diorite bowl is not any sort of crude hunter-gatherer construction. That required some sort of sophisticated technology and advanced tools. There’s something going on there, thanks and happy hunting.

I object to this article for being incorrect on the following grounds:

Evolution is a belief and not a scientifically proven fact. Evolution is expounded here based upon the writer’s education and not his personally researched testable thesis. I have no bias either way Evolution or Creation.

The author does not know that the Earth was formed billions of years ago. This premise is again based upon education and is not a proven fact. We do not know when the Earth was formed or whether it was formed or manufactured or even how it came into being. There are certain things that we will never know for sure and maybe it is not for us to ask these questions.

If the Moon causes the tilt to be stable then show us the mechanics of this, not just tell us that this is so. Show us the actual reasons that the Moon has this capability. If it is not known then I begin to feel that this is a non worthy article full of unproven statements.

All historical records showing the variation in tilt is just recorded information and it is us in our very short life spans that is has been ‘recorded’. So let’s say that the record is for the last 350 years. This is a very short period of time relative to the age of the Solar system to accurately verify that the information of the degree of tilt is stable.

“Without a Moon, our axis would swing more quickly and more dramatically.” Why is this so in detail and preferably in plain language so that I can understand? If this is cannot be show to me then I am forced to come to the conclusion that it is not the Moon which maintains the tilt or at least it is not proven.

Please show us the evidence that the Moon was closer to the Earth over 4 billion years ago. This statement makes my blood rise and it is highly irritating because it is glib, unproven and even absurd to state it without any attached proven facts.

There is absolutely no proof that the Sun/Moon (and Mercury and Venus) causes the tides I must admit that the evidence is strong but there have been offered alternatives which are largely ignored.

How does the tides move and mix the oceans (evidence please) surely the spin of the Earth has a more dramatic mixing effect or at least my juicer machine shows me that this is so.

I stop here as I have had enough. I do feel that I given my point of view that this article is purely inculcated propaganda that we must eat without question. I can’t do this.

    George;
You have merely stated that which I have previously said.
I re-iterate: Newton explained the laws and showed the correct maths of the laws but he did not understand the mechanics.
It is the 'mechanics' which at our level of understanding of the laws, becomes the (only) vital issue.

    George Metaxas:

Newton gave us, correctly the 'laws' or "effects" (as you say) of gravity, he did not know the mechanics of gravity or if he did, he never explained the mechanics..

Please give your understanding of the precise and detailed mechanics with which the Moon has a pulling effect on the oceans. Include both oceans and solid matter. Show please the mechanics and not Newtons maths.

This is for everyone. I hear a lot about the new covenant, the power of God and similar subject matter. So here's a related question. If the gods you made up in your heads loves, cares for, and hold babies in the highest of esteem, what makes you think he'll be any more trustworthy, when it's time to save you from eternal torment?

The Science establishment has absolutely no idea, exactly, what gravity is.
Until 'they' know they will probe around in the dark looking for anti-gravity forever.

If the Moons gravity pulls on the oceans of the Earth creating the tides then I ask what, exactly reaches out and 'grabs' the ocean and pulls it towards the Moon.
I know of nothing in the particle physics world that can do this, pushing yes, pulling no.

CERN is looking for the particle that will prove the big bang as I understand its purpose, well let me tell you CERN you are wasting public money by keeping a lot of people in a fat salary by playing nursery games.

Santiago claims the Biblical accounts are true, not fiction. His proof? Nothing! Only that he believes the Bible to be true, because he was taught to believe it to be so, since his youth, by his Christian teachers. He has NOT investigated the most recent archaeological evidence to prove anything about the Exodus to be true. I, on the other hand, have investigated the archaeological evidence, proving that the Exodus is unsupported by archaeological findings. I am aware that spurious claims are made by Christian Apologists claiming archaeology supports the Bible's veracity, but I know these claims are false based on my in-depth studies of archaeological reports by trained archaeologists instead of spurious claims by pseudo-scholars who have no training in archaeology.
I can sympathize with Santiago, for I once believed, like him, the Bible was true (1943-1980) but when I investigated the archaeological reports for myself I realized I had been fed falsehoods about the Bible's veracity by the Bible's defenders. Santiago should visit my website, www.bibleorigins.net to see for himself why the Bible cannot be the word of God. Then, the blindfold will drop from his eyes, and he will become a non-believer, like myself.
