I cannot for the life of me understand why the writer Annemieke put that last sentence in the article.
Why on earth should it have any thing to do with a modern religion?

Not to mention that the Indians knew of the planes of exsistence and worm holes long before Einstein or modern physics.

It is always fascinating to learn the origins or what is now common things. I read the Origin of Sacred Things and couldn't put in down. We have so much knowledge that is around today but no idea of the meaning behind it or where it came from...like the expression "his name is mud" etc.

This seems pretty advanced, you have astroarchaeologist diving deep into this area. It is not uncommon for solar and stellar allignments, but to throw in a fibanocci sequence in the structure and we are talking about a civilization well ahead of their time. I have seen sights where they have used the sequences for building but this is here in America. I am telling you all now the land we now call America is so deep in history and archaeological possiilities that is is grotesque to think that there is not more research done here...case in point, it is believed that the Aztecs originated in America and that the Mayans moved from the south and ended up in America, all the way in Georgia and Florida.

Still not solid evidence of a giant race, seemed to be some skepticism on the part of the author. I am open to the idea of giants but this os not sufficient evidence of giants.

I don't know if I can get behind the idea of giants...giants have been refered to in the bible and other places but that seems to mean giant in skills, personality, ability etc more than size. Other than this I have seen no evidene of giants outside of reference in literature......Keep looking though.

I believe it, the DNA has so many properties it is amazing. It is said that memories and visions can be carried on through generations, through your bloodline. It is a topic that needs much more research but you can't deny the power of DNA.

We'll said Sir. The world is wonderful enough without the new age bozos going around trying to invent stupid shit to fill in the gaps in our understanding.

I suggest you all keep your fantastic rumblings till the final dust settles. Non-split brains is a particularly ridiculous New Age wish fantasy that is not implied by the findings. Nor do the DNA results yet definitively give rise to the conclusion that the elongated heads were genetic or acquired, especially as not all skulls in this region, of the same time period were elongated. Perhaps one should let archaeologists of repute discuss the implications first, especially as the final results of this DNA analysis are not to hand. I have always been disappointed by those who take these speculations and then later spout them as facts, but never retract them when found to be wrong.

I disagree, the lack of a seam at the back of these skulls is a HUGE change from human genetics - its simply not reasonable to interpret it as simply a "human based manipulation".
In fact the principle of Ockhams Razor eliminates that possibility since it is impossible to alter human DNA that much even now, never mind then.

Do you realize how many times evidence has gone into "peer review" and disappeared. The Smithsonian has collected any number of giant skeletons over the last two centuries, only to have them never appear again. Likewise, the "Sealand skull" ("Grey Alien") has been declared a "hoax" without a single forensic examination. I know from personal experience what happens when evidence which contradicts the "official story" is turned over for "peer review". When the space shuttle Columbia exploded, the SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE reported on the front page that a local astronomer had photographs of an orange-purple beam hitting the wing-root of the Columbia just before it exploded. The astronomer conceded that the "orange-purple" pixels could be "artifacts" created by his Nikon digital camera. No photographs were provided the CHRONICLE, as the astronomer had immediately turned them over to NASA. Six months later, I contacted the writer of the original article, who was clearly uncomfortable with my questions. He recycled the original explanation, then said he had "lost" the name of the astronomer. A FRONT PAGE STORY, and the writer "loses" the name of his source? Come on... I suggest you web search images of "The Battle of Los Angeles 1942" and look at the images of the only known picture to have survived, on the front page of the LOS ANGELES TIMES. The US Army pumped thousands of rounds of anti-aircraft fire into the saucer-shaped object before it "drifted out to sea." The official government explanation? A WEATHER BALLOON! The television program "Fact or Fake" disproved that explanation in less than ten seconds.

This aint evidence until there is peer review. Keep in mind this is a publication that has published hoaxes and falsehoods before. I'm not knocking the publication's intention, but this is not evidence. This is just one man's word, whose intentions we cant presume to know.

The only downside to our reflections of the past of and this article is all the references. We say thing like male dominated society, and another example is the referencing the dark ages. We say things like people were ignorant then and that is not true. The European based socities were ignorant back then but we have to get out of that mindset. While the dark ages were a time of ignorance in Europe, other civiliztions were flourishing. So while your saying about how things are dominated bu males and the feminie gets pushed aside, that is only true in certain areas of the planet and at certain times during recorded history. There are civilizations andf countries today were both are eqeal, there are some where the feminine is the predominant sex.

There is so much to learn about the Sumerians, even though it is no longer the oldest civilization known. There is one in America that predates the Sumerians, but I doubt that this new civilization is the oldest yet. We have exsisted longer than we know. Keep an open mind people.
