This occurred in France, in 1982 before the days of the Internet, so you will not be able to track it online. I know, because I have tried.

It was a sunny clear morning one weekend and my girlfriend , her sister and I decided to go down the motorway into Paris to do some shopping in Cergy at the mall.

The weather being fine, the motorway was crammed with holidaymakers going about there business, like ourselves, when suddenly the sister in the driver’s seat slammed on the brakes very quickly to stop us going into the car in front, and with her face almost into the windscreen , we in the back heard her crying out in shock “Merde, il ya un vaisseau spatial” (Shit! There’s a spaceship”).

Everything went quiet, as thousands of car engines, and trucks and coaches ground to a halt in both directions, and on that very clear day on that perfectly lit hillside, everybody got out of their vehicle, and everybody looked up into the blue sky above us where there hovered, utterly silent and motionless an absolutely enormous machine.

We all could clearly see the stories of rows and rows of windows in the shiny metallic side of the thing, and gradually people began chatting and pointing out this and that about the vehicle, as  though it was the most normal thing in the world and happened every day, but, yes, there was a lot of exitement. Us? I do not remember us talking at all.

I looked around me. As the long road sloped downwards towards Paris, I could see at least at least a kilometre along the motorway in that direction, and rather less nearer me above the hill, where the road rounded a bluff: say half a kilometre, but it was very clear, and I could clearly make out the figures and faces of all of the cdrivers, and all of the passengers craning their necks backwards and upwards, all of us, because  of its size.

This was not one of those blobby lights or a flying hat or saucepan-shaped object, no. This thing was the size of a small town! Impossible to say how big really as there were so few markers and except for the windows that could anyway have been any size at all, just nothing to go by.

It was round, and on the bottom appeared flat and almost featureless. Because it was there above us, where we were we could not see the top of it because it occupied most of the sky above the motorway where we were, but I would guess it must have been at least as wide as the distance from us to the bluff on the bend in the road, and that made it somewhere between 400 and 800 metres across.

I grew up near an airbase and Vulcans used to overfly ours school in the 60s, and I have seen and flown on the largest passenger carriers, but they were just tiny in comparison, and we all had time to examine it, as it was there for, well, I do not know how long, but it seemed an eternity, difficult to judge, because at least for me time had stopped. I’d say more than five minutes, but it could have been longer than that.

Then, again, with everyone still gazing at it and pointing stuff out, it left. No sound really. It was just not there any more. You got just enough of a hint of a direction maybe, but really it just vanished.

Then, gesturing and chatting and laughing, these thousands of people all got back into their vehicles and eventually were able to move away to wherever it was that they were going.

We continued into  town to do our shop like everybody else, but I do not remember our talking about it. I mean, what could you SAY? All three of us, like everyone else there I expect, found it difficult. When we got back home to the girls parents, where they and their brother awaited us, I do not remember us mentioning this extraordinary thing to them at all.Maybe we did? WE did not discuss it I know, for the next two years

But it was like a blessing, and I think of all of those thousands of people who shared the same silent experience, and all of us able to remember it as clear as day, every day, and it’s great.

I do not think there will be bodies in the Terracotta army. I think those who practicesdself-mummification, would be placed inside Buddha statues.

The Dolmens and Megaliths of Minorca are no mystery. They are monuments made to some event that was memorable to those who could only record their wonder in stone. Others coming upon the site may Share a similar experience or one of their own and wish to comment, much as I do now. These places are magical, not because of some mystical power but because they inspire us to respond!

As a youth I visited Stonehenge. You could touch it then. I saw grafiti carved into the stones, in many language. I looked out onto Salisbury Plain at the mound graves in the distance.

Some years later in Philadelphia at Independence Hall I ran my finger down the crack in the Liberty Bell, can't do that anymore either! What good is a bell with a crack in it? The inscription: "Proclaim LIBERTY Throughout all the Land unto all the Inhabitants Thereof" - When the bell first rang it signified that Human Slavery was henceforth to be outlawed in Pennsylvania. I knew you couldn't sign your name to it indicate you had been there, you saw , you knew! I was inspired to sing a song on the spot. Pete Seeger's Hammer Song. Not so durable as stone or bronze perhaps; but my voice did ring out!

At Delphi I sang again, marching up he hill on the Sacred Way. It was a silly song but it was a Paean. I wasn't the first to do this but the local cops stopped me. It is against the law in Greece to sing on the Sacred Way? OMG!

Visit magical places, see for yourself, touch them if you can. Sing a song. Should they ever arrest me for singing in such a place I ask the judge to show me the evidence!

A man on a white horse appeared at a British Royal Durbar or Jubilee, somewhere a long time ago in the early 20th Century, but he was not listed as part of the procession, could not be identified, disappeared later, and was never seen again.

Have they checked out the “Terracotta Army”? How many more like this can there be? Will it ever be possible again to look at any old statue in the same way?

Whether concrete, steel or stone, bridges will always need maintenance because of the action of the water, specifically in undermining them. Modern concrete also gets harder for decades and if properly mixed and cured, will endure for centuries. However, it's remarkable that concrete has been around so long.

Our ancient ones realised the pattern to life was in the stars. They believed the Celestial creative energies were the template to life on Earth. Each of the twelve zones around the equator region, connected to the twelve zones of the zodiac belt and both are broken down into the twelve parts of the body from the head to feet. Egypt dedicated hundreds of years to record this in stone as the Nile was considered the milky way and the connection to Orion was mapped out to pass the idea through time. It is true how the concept was passed on globally. Stonehenge is precisely positioned in this order and is the sign or position of the breast and the connection to cancer. Many different patterns have been used but the original matches Stonehenge. The long feelers are the pointing paths through the main outer circle.

Most cultures around the World continued to develop this concept and represent the Celestial as a parental figure which exerts creative energies as a pattern for the World. Many variations represent this Celestial figure, size, gender, form all vary but the common trend is that the creative energies surround us and life on Earth is an expression of these energies.

I think there was diversity in pirate's ways but the Disney image of them comes in large part to RSL's book Treasure Island, Eye patches, peg legs and the rest of it. His story is fictional, but based/inspired by a huge treasure theft at Blackbeard's Teach's Hole off Ocracoke Island 27-8 years after Blackbeard's death. Turns out RSL's great uncles owned a plantation on St Kitts next to the family plantation of the wife of this pirate, Owen Lloyd. His brother, John Lloyd also in the heist, had a wooden peg leg and one of the crew had a patch over one eye. The book and documentation of the events are on Amazon (Treasure Island: The Untold Story). And it proves that true history is more fascinating and dramatic than fictional stories. Blackbeard is one of history's most famous pirates, but Owen Lloyd stole more treasure in one afternoon than Blackbeard did in his entire career. It was accomplished without firing even a single shot and yet almost no one knows his name, including those who now inhabit that island. Thanks to court trials and other records much detail about this event and their lives remains.

It is sad to consider some places or people are fighting as a life style, when here in New Zealand now smacking your child is considered a legal matter. We all take different meanings or interpretations from information to suit our own situations. I think it would be a great idea if we could pick up hundreds of people struggling and fighting and send them on a small tour of different countries around the World so they can see and experience how others live.

Have you read the New Perspectives, life-cycle of the planets article, this gives a logical description of the movement of the planets and describes a more scientific explanation of the biblical concept. Genesis to revelations the life-cycle of the planets.

An interesting point of view, for sure. Several different species of human, say, shorter, taller, varied facial structure, different coloration, and so on, all existed in the past. A veritable treasure trove of human diversity - in the truest sense of the word.

But then, evolution comes into play. And that eternal human flaw, war. And slowly, the human diversity begins to shrink and shrink. More genes are lost and lost, forever. And eventually we end up with the modern human, the one that, above all, managed to adapt to its surroundings and dominate the rest. Our cousins with the elongated foreheads now a relic of history, whether merely out-reproduced or simply exterminated by others.

Logically, the premise appears to be sound.
