The Andes Mountains in South America have been home to ancient civilizations for thousands of years. High-altitude archaeology has played a crucial role in uncovering their fascinating history. One of the most significant discoveries has been the remarkably well-preserved frozen mummies found in the region. These mummies have provided valuable insights into the lives of the Inca people, revealing details about their diet, medical practices, and social structure.
