The Plain of Atlantis: Identified

Plato described  the Florida Plain as the plain of Atlantis. Here is his quote:

“Looking towards the sea, but in the centre of the whole island, there was a plain which is said to have been the fairest of all plains and very fertile.”

While looking across from the center of the boundless continent, you can see the Atlantis Plain which, was Florida, which is very fertile.

The Americas: Plato’s Boundless Continent

Plato described the Americas as a boundless continent. Here is his quote: 

“for this sea which is within the Straits of Heracles is only a harbour, having a narrow entrance, but that other is a real sea, and the surrounding land may be most truly called a boundless continent.”

South America is Opposite to Atlantis (North America)

Plato indirectly described South America as the continent opposite to the continent of Atlantis. Here is his quote:

Atlantis Found! Matched to Plato's Description!

Plato made the mistake of calling the continent of Atlantis an island or this was a mistake in translation. North America really was the Continent of Atlantis. Here is his quote:

“and there was an island situated in front of the straits which are by you called the Pillars of Heracles; the island was larger than Libya and Asia put together, and was the way to other islands,”

Researcher to explore origin of Rama Setu

Hindu tradition has long held the belief that this strip of land was a bridge built by their beloved deity Rama as described in the Hindu epic the Ramayana.  It has been referred to since antiquity as "Rama's Bridge" or Rama Setu.

ISIS Bulldozes Ancient Site

The Islamic State militant group has bulldozed the ancient archeological site of Nimrud in Iraq near Mosul according to media reports.  Reportedly heavy military vehicles were used to accomplish the feat.  The Nimrud site was considered one of the most important archaeological sites in the world and has been compared to King Tut’s tomb in terms of artifacts and the wealth of information derived from the stie.  The ancient city was the second capital of the Assyrians.  However, this is not the only site ISIS has destoyed.
