It took rome more than 2 centuries to subdue the Iberian peninsula. More than any other area in the world. Agustus had to come to oversee the end of The Cantabrian wars. But some celtic- Iberian tribes like the Cantabre never surrendered. It would be good to see a story about this.

Now Ed, I’m sure you know very well that Arthur did not reign at this or any other time. He is conspicuous by his absence from the only known contemporary source, which assigns at least some of the deeds later attributed to him to the Romano-British leader Ambrosius Aurilianus. By contrast, there are plenty of fictional references to the Welsh mythical hero Arthur and it is far, far more likely that the fictional Arthiur was historicised by later writers to fill the gaps and please their aristocratic audiences. To this day, Arthur remains worth his weight in gold for PR so I don’t blame you for mentioning him, but let’s admit that the vast weight of scholalrly opinion is on Arthur being a romantic medieval invention.

    Hi Ed,

To me this article just Confirmed Enoch because Atlas well that's one of the Fallen Angels that was apart of the 200 Watcher Angel's. Satal is his hebrew name like his brother Apollyon in Revelations chapter 9:11 is Abbaddon in hebrew.

From what I see with the statue of Atlas aka Satal he has no wing's. This tells me that out of the 200 Watchers 100 Watcher Angel's were Cherubims; (which is what Lucifer is that's why He is depicted with wing's The Bible identifies Him by His Former Heavenly Title which is The Covering Cherub).

Getting back to Atlas/Satal statue that means the other 100 Watcher Angel's like Atlas had no wings they looked like you and me only they were Titan like in stature.

I'm wondering much hasn't changed in Human History so I wonder if He posed for his Sculpture then later some artist came around and added to his statue depicting him Holding the Sky up on His Shoulders.

I know I don't have definite proof but, I'm utilizing The Bible Book's of Enoch like a Treasure Map in History tracing Enoch's eye witness accounts between Heaven and Earth.

Thank you for sharing this Article Ed this was awesome and exciting for me too read until next time looking forward too reading your articles to come Goodbye!

To call this recurring image of abandoned Teotihuacan a ‘Spider Woman’ is really a blind guess it seems. There's no outside reference such as this city’s Storm god which had a counter part with the Aztecs. Perhaps the identity of this Deity may lie either the old village/town of Teotihuacan or the destroyed city of Cuicuilco; the pottery art of the former &/or the pottery & mosaics of the latter.  The spider-woman deity could be either the home deity of the original inhabitants  or  came with the refugees of Cuicuilco. And you can probably say the same about the storm-god.

    Hello DHWTY,

I remember hearing of Alchemy on A&E and The History Channel sometime in 1997-98. Didn't pay that much attention. I did read an article from Ancient Origins I think back in March of this year that Alchemy came from those Rebellious Watcher Angel's made known in Enoch which is apparently proof that Enoch was still in The Bible in those day's.

The Christian symbols and the Greek Symbols involving the deities from The Greek Stories that was probably how those Angels spelled their name's. Enoch says that The Angel's taught their families then later humanity Forbidden Secrets one such secret was how to make Gold and apparently this is where the Science of Alchemy comes in to play Making Gold.

I've read in the Greek Stories that Hermes, Aphrodite, and Apollo dealt with Alchemy. At the time didn't take it seriously because of Enoch and Revelation I do now.

Revelation chapter 9:11, speaks of a being that John says is known by His Greek name Appollyon but, his name in Hebrew is Abbaddon since Apollo is whose associated with Alchemy this tells me Abbaddon was probably married to a Human Woman but we only know her as Aphrodite and Venus we don't have the Hebrew Name she'd be known by in addition to the case of Hermes He might have been Apollyon's and Aphrodite's Son.

As for Italy I find it interesting that a Earthquake destroyed the village and much of the Alchemy information was destroyed in 1948, I recognize not too many people would see it anything more than just a coincidence but still interesting.

This is a exciting article you've shared thank you DHWTY, until next time I look forward to reading more of your articles Goodbye!

It's a damn shame what the church and the Spanish did by conquering the Aztecs. As a result, there is almost no place in the western hemisphere left today where you can go to perform human sacrifices.

Modern anthropology tells us all cultures are morally equal. In fact, human sacrifice was once popular throughout many cultures worldwide. Where are we supposed to go today if we are in the mood to engage in a little cannibalism, or maybe wear a suit made of human flesh? How about just a giant rack of human skulls in the center of town? How dare the church attempt to impose their morality upon these people?

    Hello Pacman 7331,

The only History I'm aware of Catholic things being destroyed, I believe happened in Ireland.

I think if I'm wrong on this subject some body will definitely correct me. I believe when Britain took over Ireland for the Final Time and stayed and never left The British Empire; at that time, had Outlawed Catholicism, it's possible they did destroy Their Holy Book's in Catholicism.

I do know that in The United States of America, in 1945, 45,000 Ku Klux Klansmen marched in Washington, D.C. where THEY Declared their Hatred for Blacks, Irish Catholics, and Jews it was the largest Ku Klux Klan gathering recorded in 1945.

Honestly I didn't get the whole Irish Catholic deal with The Klan I'm unaware if They destroyed any Sacred Catholic Books are writings but since they Fire Bombed Black Churches and Houses then it wouldn't surprise me if THEY Fire Bombed any Catholic Churches.

    Goodbye for now Pacman7331!

    Hello Dr. Barnhart,

You mentioned Columbus and America's not being considered Civilized till Columbus arrival so I have this to say...

Growing up African American one has to learn of The Black Experience in America, and through these Lessons of the past you also come to learn about The Beliefs and ideas that motivated the whole evil business that got started in the first place.

It came down to the principle of skin color, the good ole (and I'm being sarcastic with this point) Noah Cursed Ham, and who was Civilized and who wasn't considered to be a Civilized people.

That's what I see when I study about Columbus, Cortez, and Pizzaro in Peru against The Incan Empire. These supposed explorers deciding that these people weren't Civilized according to their Cultural Ideas of what Civilizations was supposed to be Columbus, Cortez, and Pizarro Slaughtered Human Beings because of their Racist Idea of Civilized when They were the ones Not Civilized.

How can one not look upon The World's Global Pyramids and not see Civilization? All of the places where Pyramids have been discovered and explored displayed their Science & technical feats.

I remember when I read the Epic Poem Gilgamesh it really bothered me on how that wild man living one with nature he was doing great right until quote Progress and Civilization Tamed him and made him like everyone else.

He would have died eventually that Wildman who ran with the animal's in Gilgamesh but, his interaction with people hastened death to come too him much faster.

In the same vain when Cortez got to Mexico after uniting with The Aztecs Enemies they Outlawed The Aztecs and other Indigenous Populations in The New World from taking so many Bath's. Bath's really Spain?

    That made The People UnCivilized?

Great article Dr. Barnhart I enjoyed reading this piece greatly and I look forward to reading more of your articles until next time Goodbye!

    Hello Ed,

Somehow I doubt the Catholic Church will apologize for what was done in Africa, in the America's the on behalf of The Vatican and Spain.

It seems to be an persistent pattern of sweeping under the rug the infamous skeletons in the closet by many countries.

I suppose in the case of Divine Justice like straight out of The Bible; some not all of the Conquistadors, and Priest died in some form or another in obscure poverty.

At least, that's what I had read about Cortez; that's also why, I said some died in abjective poverty not all after everything they did on behalf of Spain and The Catholic Church.

I'm reminded of a catch phrase taught to me by a genius History teacher...

What is the Significance of 1492? I was introduced to that phrase on the First Day of class and that question has since stuck with Me.

I learned in 1492, about the change in power in Spain; the Moors no longer held power Isabel and Ferdinand successfully kicked them out.

Introduced National Pride for All Spaniards

Followed Portugal in the long tragic history of The Middle Passage The Mid-Transatlantic Slave Trade from Africa; this action by the Spanish Monarch was to usher in Trade & Commerce.

Outlaw Jews, Muslims ☪, non-Catholics living in Spain to sum up the word for this Jim Crow Laws are put in place in Spain against these diverse group's.

Although, Spain most likely used a different word to alienate these particular groups in Spain oh and by the way this is why The Spanish Inquisition got started in 1492.

Archeologist and anthropologist have unearthed evidence some places in Mexico where The Spanish Inquisition did not stay in Spain but was brought to The New World.

Coincidentally, some of Cortez top crew men were born in the year 1492 as well.

Getting back to topic at hand No I don't believe the Catholic Church will ever apologize for what happened in the America's on their behalf.

Well Ed this certainly is a thought provoking article thank you for sharing this one so until next time I look forward to reading more of your articles Goodbye!

Well,I saw a documentary on the Odessey that mentioned that on an island rumored to be the one the cylopes lived on, there is indeed a plant growing that has been known to cause cyclopeaia in newborns. However, the children with this condition die soon after birth. Itwould make sense that giants, being  evil descendant of the evil nephilim, were much stronger and could survive conditions that humans might not. At any rate, good thing they are gone since they were evil and described as eating people,on top of that.
