There are many historical places are there in Turkey, some of them are as follow:

1. Alanya Castle

2. Antalya Museum 

The Antalya Museum contains thousands of traditional and ancient artifacts. 

3. Cappadocia, The Underground City

Cappadocia having Underground Cities are incredible Christian subterranean equipped cities in Turkey sheltered by UNESCO. 

4. Dolmabahce Palace

Dolmabahce Palace is a luxurious 19th century palace which twice served as the place of the Ottoman Empire. 

5. Galata Tower

Galata Tower is a medieval turreted tower earliest built by the Genoese in 1348.

6. Hagia Sophia

Hagia Sophia is a world famous 6th century church turned mosque in Istanbul.

I would be very careful with going to Turkey ATM but im also shocked that Gobeki tepe isnt on that above list??

maybe these are lesser known

maybe these are lesser known places...i've at least heard of gobeki tepe
