Carrowkeel Megalithic Cemetery, located in the south of County Sligo, is one of the four largest passage tomb complexes in Ireland. Dating back around 5,000-6,000 years, the cairns remain as an impressive legacy of the rich Neolithic culture that was active in the region at the time.
