The Indus Valley Civilization: The Masters of the River

One of the most mysterious of these four civilizations is no doubt that which developed around the Indus, discovered only in 1920. Considered to be one of the world's most powerful rivers, the Indus has a flow rate twice as high as the Nile, and three times that of the Tigris and the Euphrates. Its geographical course enabled extensive communication to be developed and, at the same time, the rise of a prosperous civilization, the Harappeans. What was the story of this recently discovered civilization, and how can we explain its decline?

When you get to the 5 min mark, I hope you took french. LOL. I did and I'm not following at all!! The french speaking expert makes a few more appearences....I have no idea what he said. The river disappearing reminds me of the Nile changing its pathway. It wonderful to see that the river was still there just underground and when it was brought back so were the people!

love, light and blessings
