I studied History at Radboud University in Nijmegen (Netherlands). I received my Master in Ancient History by writing a Master Thesis about the Greek goddess Hygieia. My aim was to examine whether she was a goddess or a persinification. In my Master I followed courses on Greek democracy, Christianity in the Roman Empire, historiography and subdisciplines. Between 2009 and 2013 I conducted research about Hygieia for a dissertation , but didn't complete my research. I wrote my Bachelor thesis about Greek religion and drama. I received a second Master of Arts teaching History and Civics.

The goal of Ancient Origins is to highlight recent archaeological discoveries, peer-reviewed academic research and evidence, as well as offering alternative viewpoints and explanations of science, archaeology, mythology, religion and history around the globe.
