DISPONIBILE L’EBOOK DI “SINDONE, FIRENZE E I MISTERI DEL SACRO TELO”
This publication represents perhaps the first effective editorial concretization of a series of historical hypotheses which, for some time now, have been snaking around the world of Florentine researchers and which have to do with the possibility of the passage of the Holy Shroud from Florence in the 14th century. Enrico Baccarini had the courage to tackle a complex theme, certainly full of the dangers of misunderstanding, voids and ambiguities, with a philological method that is anything but simplistic, indeed absolutely meticulous in reconstructing genealogies, journeys and symbolic plots. Two thousand years separate us from the central event of Christianity, the Resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth since then the Shroud has established itself as the most precious relic in Western history, testimony of a unique event imprinted on a simple linen cloth. After the theft from Byzantium and its arrival in Athens, the Shroud disappeared for 150 years, until it officially reappeared in 1356, in France.
