    Alicia,

what I find fascinating about Dean's story is his original experience in France and his up to date one in Mexico. Let's say re-incarnation is a reality. Could it possibly be there is something like a soul collective and these souls keep on getting re-born into different bodies, but they are always connected to the same group? Has it always been like that? We all have friends and family but could the reality be that even though people are of different appearance, gender etc, to friends and family of past generations, their souls are the same?

You often hear the saying, especially in regard to a young child, that he or she's been here before because of what they say and do. Maybe they have been here before and in most cases their previous life memories fade away as they get older.

Another fairly common occurence seems to be when you are drawn to go to a specific place for no apparent reason. When you do go you feel that you've been there before even though you have not. Is it because you have been there in a previous existence?

So many fascinating possibilities but sadly no real scientific evidence, yet.

A fascinating piece, but I would like to suggest that "Language" is not only spoken, what about sign language? Many intelligent people living today have no spoken language, but have an effective way to communicate via sign language. Professer Stephen Hawking cannot talk, but communicates by computer, would anyone suggest that he isn't intelligent?

That’s a good point, David, but since few people read the Irish histories they overlook the fact that Fenius came from ‘Skythia - in the North’ - which is to the north of Ireland. So, that means the Phoenicians (Fenicians) came from Skye, as stated in the Declaration of Arbroath as the origins of the Scots. So where was Atlantis and what happened to the Atlantans? Next you have to answer the Rhesus negatives question and where they came from. The sea level in the N. Atlantic rose 400ft between 10,000 - 5,000 years ago, creating the Scottish islands, which were inhabited long before Scandinavia was clear of ice as the archaeological record proves. The Hebrides is where civilisation restarted ofter the flood, until they were forced out by the nuclear winter created by Hekla exploding in Iceland 3,700 years ago. That’s when Terah (Thor), Abrahams father, headed south with his family to the land of Harran. That’s now called Arran, in the River Clyde, once known as the Hiddekel, one of the 4 rivers of Eden.
Somebody Somewhere... your perception of geography and history was given to you by the Roman Church, who named ALL the locations in the modern landscape we attribute to the Bible. Sadly, it’s all an elaborate lie that allowed them to control the world. The pyramids point mathematically to 3 places in Scotland, Skye, Calanais and Edinburgh...which means they point to the homeland of the builders, “who built a name (monument) for themselves lest they be scattered across the face of the Earth”... they built the pyramids as a mathematical map that points the way home. You have much to learn and even more to forget. My apologies, but you’ve been suckered, along with everyone else.

With emerging evidence of a comet impact at the end of the last ice age, this and other myths seem to be memories of just that event? And maybe a warning it might come round again.

  • Reply to: Poet Sappho, the Isle of Lesbos, and sex tourism in the ancient world   8 years 7 months ago

I have never heard or read any ancient saying that Lesbos is an island involved in the sex-trade.

However Sappho in her poems says how she loves a girl, who left because she was married. As well as many other references to girls leaving to be married. It is closer to the truth to say Lesbos was a 'finishing' school for girls' where they learnt poetry (Sappho was known even in her time) as well as other arts mastered by the goddess Athena (who she always references). We know that men at that time wanted a woman who was from Lesbos to marry because they were all learned in how to be a good wife. Not because they were lesbians or because they wanted to marry a prostitute.

Another writer who neither can read or understands ancient greek trying to tell the world what has been written.

As for homosexuality, there is no race or people in existence where it NEVER took place (except in Russia where Putin says it doesn't happen). Ancient Greeks just wrote about it because they were a democracy where they spoke and wrote about everything (even metaphysics, medicin, maths etc etc). Just because english speaking coutries barred any mention of the act for hundreds of years doesn't mean it didn't happen there...it did, it just wasn't proper to speak about it or write about it in newspapers...it ancient greece it was.

Our planet was not here at the time of the Big Bang! And all this millions/billions of years of civilisation argument is infinetly less well supported than an argument for the existence of Father Christmas or the Tooth Fairy!

Sorry, but you are making a claim with pretty much zero evidence based on a false statement. Nature DOES do straight lines. Just look at columnar basalt etc. Sedimentary rocks are laid down in fairly flat layers. And this article does NOT say the pipes are straight lines. It DOES say they are all different sizes, just like tree roots. The 'pipe wall' thicknesses vary even in the cross section shown.

We have a very good idea of human evolution, although we might be missing a few steps and keep finding older versions of our more ape like ancestors. There is no evidence at all for advanced civilisation 150,000 years ago, let alone millions. There seems to be some evidence of civilisation around the time of the last ice age, but we are talking building stone temples and trading etc (at a time we thought humans were huddling in caves) rather than computers and planes etc.

I am happy to say that you are very mistaken about the demise of Dr Hawass. He no longer holds any public office in Egypt but he is still very active as a tour guide and lecturer. I don't necessarily agree with his stated philosophies but as a larger than life character he has few peers. As for the constant need to find alien or ancient [ i.e. older than the Pharaonic Egyptians ] handiwork to explain the Pyramids, Sphinx et al, this is just the outcome of the empty headed musings of some very stupid people some of whom really are liars. The rest simply can't give credit where credit is due.

One has only to spend a relatively small amount of time in the presence of scientific research communities to discover motivations for suppression vs. promotion. The motivation, far from being the result of shadowy conspiracies, often turns out to be more psychological and practical than darkly political. Science communities are unique in that they require a level of concentration, order and precision that quite sets them apart from the vast majority of other vocations, academic or otherwise. Along with very real psychological demands is the ever-present practical consideration of economics. Funding is often sparse and contingent upon results. These two factors alone: the self worth derived from creating the rigorously detailed proofs that invite peer attention along with the less than flattering song and dance required to beg for funding from limited sources, tend to tax the humanity in the best of us. Nobody wants to deal with the frustration of balancing a house of cards that is subject to the frail, unscientific whims of egos and politics. Yet, this is the very real world that scientific researchers inhabit. Territorial protectionism and infighting shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.

You are exactly right. Artificial pipe deniers seem to forget tree roots DO NOT grow in straight lines, but will take up empty spaces within abandoned pipes and conduits. Once the roots become petrified they will seem to be a natural formation that accumulated iron deposits as an outer shell. I am amazed at how modern scientist and academics are so arrogant to think humans today are the apex of evolution. They never seem to accept there were highly advanced civilizations going back millions, if not billions of years, into a past long wiped away by natural geological processes

  • Reply to: Exclusive: Discovery of New Prehistoric Underground Tunnels at Bosnian Pyramids   8 years 7 months ago

Archaeologists and historians have been making a lot of noise about how the Bosnian Pyramids and their associated tunnel labyrinths are "fakes" or are even (LMAO!) being built by the volunteers clearing, researching, and exploring the site.

Many aspects of those tunnels and pyramids are far beyond the engineering and technology of OUR XXI century civilization! Even if Dr. Osmanagichalong with a few dozen-or even a few hundred-volunteers was to attempt to concoct a fraud, he wouldn't know how to do this, and his foundation certainly would not have the $$$$ to undertake it.

There ARE frauds, misunderstandings, and even mass deceptions in history and archeology which all are long overdue for debunking. Asserting "fraud" where none exists is itself an act of fraud, and is shameful indeed!

This species don't appear to be real I am afraid. The cranial cavity was an estimate and in H Sapiens range anyway. Apparently collectors selected just big samples and ignored small ones. Science seems to say this is just H Sapiens, while a whole bunch of pseudo-science sites continue the myth...
