I don’t usually like doing forum introductions, usually I just jump in but it says “please introduce yourself”. I’m sure I registered here before but it says email not recognised so have reregistered. I’m interested in some similar topics as Ancient Origins, though I don’t always agree with the opinions.

I have been studying bits and pieces of history and mysteries and origins and some other subjects/fields since my teenage years, especially ancient history like biblical. I’m not really what some would call fringe, though I’m not mainstream conventional either, I in between and try to find the truth and always consider a range of sources from different people. I’m not closed/puritanical/stuck-up and am always interested in peoples info and ideas, and I try to be objective and go by evidences. A number of people have said I think outside the box. I’ve made quite a few discoveries but its hard to get anyone to be interested.

I liked the potential connections.. but i hold the belief . That the "unapproachable" ruins in ethiopia would be a very likely resting place.. noone is allowed to approach.. and the ethiopians did convert.. but without any tests of this hypothesis possiblebitd remain a theory

beat me to it.  5’9” is about the same as the average male today.  140 is lanky at best.   Its safe to say scientists now a day are more or less guessing.

My suspicion about the possibility of the 16th Amendment ‘controversy’ possibly providing a motive for the CIA to declare Thomas Chan’s book The Adam & Eve Story classified is clearly not correct. So it continues to be a bit of a puzzle. I went on a search for info and easily discovered information about the 16th Am and allegations that it had not been properly voted into law and properly ratified so it is not something that was not in the public domain until the advent of Thomas Chan’s book. Hmmm. So there you have it. No doubt if I were American and more familiar with the ins and outs of the Constitution I would already have been aware of all this. Apologies for sparking interest about something that turned out to be nothing.

You asked me why the CIA had classified the book The Adam & Eve Story and I wasn't able to give much of an answer. I had recently downloaded a full copy of the book from the pdfdrive.com website but had not looked at it yet so I
had a scan through it which threw up something interesting. Between pages 55 and 61 the book makes allegations including that the 16th Amendment had never been voted into law and, of course, if this is true the ramifications would be pretty titanic. Plus the fact that, as I understand it, the only way this could be rectified would be by activating Article 5 and calling a Convention of States. I understand one has, in fact, already been called with the object of nullifying the result of the last election, although only 15 states have completed the voting process to attend so far. But my point is that the CIA might well have declared the book classified on the basis that this would be the easiest way to prevent it being discovered that successive governments have been collecting taxation with no legal standing, and the more you read the worse it gets.....if it is true, of course.

Why do you think CIA got involved with the book and censored it?
I have my suspicions but would like to hear your take on it.

I don't think the CIA have ever commented on why exactly they felt compelled to declare it classified, so one can only speculate. I have mulled the question over in my mind a few times and the only conclusion I can reach is that the Powers That Be were horrified at the prospect of the possible reaction by the mass of the general public if it became common knowledge that such a universally cataclysmic level of disaster is approaching, propelled by the unalterable cycles of the sun. Everybody might just sit on their bums and contemplate their navels. Then who would build the shelters for the elites of the planet? Who would bother to cultivate food to keep us all alive in the meanwhile? Where would the police come from to prevent disorder on a grand scale?

The book "The Adam & Eve Story" is now available on pdfdrive.com. I love that book site. They have 75m free books and growing all the time. Of course a lot of it is dross, but there is a plenitude of absolute gems also. I think the CIA must have given up on trying to keep "The Adam & Eve Story" under wraps. I also discovered that the WayBack Machine website's book section has a copy of "World In Peril" available for download.

Something I did not cover in my original post was the diminution of the earth's protective magnetic shield that can be expected as the Poles move. Our ancestors clearly had the technical understanding of such matters to be able to realise the importance of sheltering from the harmful cosmic rays that would penetrate the atmosphere under such circumstances. To my mind this is clearly why they excavated the thousands of miles of tunnels that still lie underground all over the earth, and built underground cities such as Derinkuyu. Hewn out of solid rock, 9 levels deep, capable of housing 20,000 people and their livestock.

And schoolchildren are still taught that our ancient ancestors were ignorant savages incapable of anything but the most utterly primitive lifestyle. For a better understanding of just how technically accomplished people were in the far distant past I would recommend the UnchartedX youtube channel, where some of the videos discuss the impossibility of achieving the stonework accuracy that can be observed in various parts of the world, especially Egypt, without modern tools; with some of the accomplishments not being capable of duplication even today. The inside corners of the granite boxes of the Serapeum being a case in point.

They do not teach anything today other than how to obey and to just accept what is force fed to them on the TV.  A few years back I had a discussion with someone about how the land where Atlantis was said to have been was at the same level below the sea as the Berring land bridge was so if you believed in the Land Bridge to America theory you had to agree that Atlantis in some form must have existed but the fool couldn’t even bother to look up the facts.  Just said, no because the university fed professors say it isn’t true. Until people become people again and not borg we will be stuck

I try to refrain from the notion that the earth will eventually be taken over by artificial intellegence. But Im extremely worried on our reliance on this so called collective intellengence. I always knew the more humans relied on the stored memory of computers it would decrease our own brain size. I honestly believe that this generation cannot think for themselves thus limiting human potential. When in fact its the computers that are getting smarter and evolving by collecting our thoughts. I was wondering do they even teach philososphy in todays curriculum?

A very good article. Crystals are found all over the world and come in a variety of colours and shapes. Many are spectacular, but others may go unnoticed until you discover how valuable they are. It's beneficial to be aware of their dark secrets and magical skills. Crystals, among other things, have the ability to beautify, heal, protect, divine, materialise, and transmute & shift energy.

Pfft. Nearly the entire article is conjecture built on quasi Christian New Age speculation. Would've been nice to see some sources given for the wild eyed theory that baby cannibalism was practiced...or that the animals depicted are just there because they're unclean scavengers meant to fulfil a purely mundane and mechanical function to our apparently dull-as-dishwater ancestors.

The piece seems built on one of two assumptions: 1) The Bible is an historical account and 2) that the ancient people lacked any imagination or spiritual beliefs, instead breaking their backs to move pillars and engrave them with animals that served a purely mundane purpose. This site is extraordinary and nigh on impossible to understand using modern rationalist, monotheistic approaches. But my god that doesn't stop people trying.

I guess the article works fine as clickbait and as an outrage magnet but I wouldn't trust a single word written here. (Especially not without sources).

Makes as much sense to me as calling them temples, or callng the pyramids tombs for that matter. It’s all conjecture, and this gives another viewpoint to think about. From where I sit, the truth is --- drumroll please---- NOBODY KNOWS.
