Makes as much sense to me as calling them temples, or callng the pyramids tombs for that matter. It’s all conjecture, and this gives another viewpoint to think about. From where I sit, the truth is --- drumroll please---- NOBODY KNOWS.

The Rams head is a symbol of the Age of Aries in my understanding. It is not necessarily a symbol of power as the article says

When Moses left Egypt this was the cusp of the change of the Age from Taurus to Aries.

The Egyptian civilisation was during the Age of Taurus, at its end, (symbolic) Moses left Eqypt and moved to the Age of Aries and encountered the up coming Roman empire (Aries) or civilisation. Moses’s people manufactured the golden calf (or Taurus Bull) to show their desire to return to Egypt and the (Taurean) comforts provided. They were not happy with being out in the (between the Ages) desert.

    Hi All,

Exciting News at Least it is for me about The Newest Cave in Israel. It's not lost on me that this is the twelfth cave harkening back to the Bible I am reminded of Jaocb/Israel' 12 Son's...

Reuben: means A Son is Born
    Simeon: means He Hear's
Levi: means Joined Kotath means Assembly so Joined Assembly.
    Judah: means Praised
    Dan: Vindicated/Daniel Vindication
    Naphetali: means Wrestle
Gad: means Son of Good Fortune
    Asher: means Happy
    Issahcar: means Rewarded
    Zebulin: meaning Endowed Greatly
    Joseph: means May God Add
Benjamin: means Son of my Right Hand (Ironically The Benjamites were all genetically Left Handed, Judge Ehud).

The intriguing point I've read in Genesis & later Jubilees.

Joseph's name is dropped in the Old Testament, an then he is replaced by His two son's Ephraim an Manessah (until a year ago had no clue they're The Samaritians they still make The Holy Land their Home).

Joseph's name is re-introduced in Revelation because one of Israel's Son's an his grandson were dropped from the fold. Their characteristics lined up with that of the characteristics of the Adversary.

Recognizing that not everyone views the Adversary as The Ultimate Villain the way those of Us in various Church families see Him.

So here's the New Children of Israel mentioned in Revelation...

    Reuben
    Simeon
    Levi
    Judah
    Gad
    Asher
Naphetali 6 of Christ Apostles came from this Tribe
    Manessah
    Joseph
    Benjamin
    Issachar
Zebulin 6 of Christ Apostles came from this Tribe the Prophet Isaiah mentions Naphetali & Zebulin by name where Christ ministry would begin.

An of course all of Christ Apostles numbered 12 (although, Gospel of Matthew mentions 500 of Christ's Followers that witnessed His ascension in to the Heaven's).

In the end as Jesus Himself testifies too before his subsequent Trial, an Crucifixion during prayer in Gethesemene to the Creator; on behalf of his Disciple's All but, 1 has fallen from Me, meaning Judas Iscariot.

I still feel this is a wonderful find The Twelfth Cave perhaps more Scrolls could be found.

This is all, I wish to share; so until next Discussion, Everyone, Goodbye!

  • Reply to: Was Rama Based on a Real Historical Figure?   2 years 6 months ago
    Comment Author: Jagganatha

Rama is an avatar, or Incarnation of God, like Jesus was. He existed: they all in fact existed, and still exist & can manifest themselves as God chooses and when & where it chooses, & can make saints of you, you army of monkeys!!

First understand what a myth is. Myths use real places and real events as background theatre to spiritual events. Gods are in disguise like characters in the Venice Carnival, so that they can do God’s bidding undetected- why all the Egyptian and Hindu deities have animal heads. They are NOT aliens, no, but appearances of Spaceships etcetera are just Almighty God’s way of making believers of us all.

I have very clear memories of standing outside our car on a bright summer day with around at least 10,00 other shoppers and commuters in a Paris suburb on the motorway silently staring at an enormous and very solidly convincingly real Spaceship (Vimana, Garuda, etc), speechless and amazed.

So no, if you are waiting for Rama, well, just maybe he is here already…..

I agree with the comments Pete made below. If the dating for all the footprints come from the same time through verifiable carbon dating from the region underneath the impressions for each of them and it is not a hoax or a forgery, then the implications are deeply concerning. In the image above it is clear that there are three species involved in the sediment prints. 1.)What looks like an running emu ancestor, 2.)at the minimum at least one human (in shoes no less) and possibly a human child or human woman (also in shoes), 3.)and a pack of hunting protohumans. The scene looks very disturbing.. At first glance it appears the emu was running from the human or humans then the protohumans approach the tracks of the human and proceed to hunt the human and the emu. But on closer analysis of the sliding lateral movements of some of the footprints from the protohumans, it can be deduced that the protohumans ended up getting into a scuffle with the human or humans. Where it appears the protohumans lost, dismally. It's possible a fight broke out and at least four different protohumans died with two of them caught by surprise, losing their footing and dying very quickly with quite some force. The question then becomes, what killed the two protohumans that where approaching in such a manner, with so much force and so quickly? Where there firearms in that period?!?! It seems almost implausible that such an artifact like that would exist during this time period. But maybe we need to revise what we understand about the rise of human civilization and its history. The other theory could be a direct hit to the protohumans from large very fast spear with considerable mass but in short succession of multiple shots in a very short time and short range. With a reload period of under a half a second between shots; given the distance, stride and speed of the two proto humans to the scene and where they were hit and died by such incredible quick force. At which time all the remaining protohumans ran away. Such an ancient weapon doesn't seem to line up with our current history. Which seems almost as implausible as a firearm. Regardless of all other crime scene theories as an order of events, one conclusion can be determined. The Hunter became the hunted and all the protohumans lost.

I came across a sort of Muslim Aggression By Percent of Population chart recently which I have copied out to text here. I have no idea how accurate or inaccurate it may really be but events over recent years suggest that there may be something to it.

    Below 2%
Well behaved citizens, cause little trouble for the host society

    At 2% to 3%
Begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs

    From 5%
Seek to exercise an inordinate influence out of proportion to their percentage of the population. They push for the introduction of Halal food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature it on their shelves - along with threats for failure to comply. (USA, Sweden, Switzerland). At this point Muslims work to get the ruling government to rule themselves under Sharia, which is Islamic Law. (England, Netherlands, Philippines).

    From 10%
Increased lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions (Paris car burning). Any non-Muslim action that offends Islam will result in uprisings and threats (Amsterdam, Denmark - Mohammed Cartoons, murder of Theo van Gogh).

    From 20%
Expect hair trigger rioting, Jihad Militia formations, sporadic killings and Church and Synagogue burnings (Indonesia, Ethiopia)

    From 40%
You find widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks and ongoing militia warfare (Bosnia, Chad).

    From 60%
You may expect unfettered persecution of non-believers and other religions, sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon and the imposition of the Jizya, the tax placed on conquered infidels. (Sudan, Albania).

    From 80%
Expect to find state-run etyhnic cleansing and genocide (Syria, Egypt, UAE)

    Comment Author: Bruce N.

The Norman culture had an inheritance policy where the oldest son got ½ the land; the next oldest ½ of what was left and so on.  The younger sons tended to be freelancers who would go off and fight/conquer in order to make a living.  Perhaps there was a similar thing to the older PIE culture?  This is why they had words for agricultural things but also spread out and took over Europe as well as parts of Asia.   If the OT is correct and Japath is the father of these folks, perhaps we ought to study his sons and his sons to see if the family tree does indeed branch out that way.  After all, even in India, the Greeks were referred to by Japath’s eldest son, Javan.

Pete Wagner has an interesting theory: a bunch of people with no leadership, no religion, and no elites just happened to decide to build grand buildings that look like temples for no particular reason, and who used to practice human sacrifice of men, women, and children because they ‘loved beauty … and life”.

There are typically three ways civilizations fail: revolution, invasion, and exhaustion – just wasting away over time and their vacant and desolate cities are evident everywhere in the world.

Student of Caledonia, born bred and initiated in Scotland, the mystical current of Iona is alive. Started off gettin the train up to the city for the theosophical society lectures when I was 17, it's been a long road of uncovering the secrets of this land and myself whilst watching it all tie to wider history ever since.

Oh, I believe the threat of death to a man and/or his family would have induced many to help build massive structures, and would have maintained timeliness, order, hard work and diligence. Non-Christian peoples around the world did war with others around them, committed human and child sacrifices. Some resorted to cannibilism and witchcraft. Think shamans, voodoo, witch doctors, etc. Of course Christian societies warred heavily with each other, French and English comes to mind.
