The record concerning Dracula, the real one, has been set straight by yours truly, Cheryl B. Montoya, here in TEXAS, chiefly in the cities of Austin and San Antonio; however, it all began in Comanche TX (Indian territory) after seeing the movie "Horror of Dracula" with Christopher Lee, in June of 1958; knowing, don't ask me how, that Dracula was really a patriotic, heroic figure, I set out to defend his case, with the help of relatives and friends. The phrase "Don't Mess With Texas" has taken on a more intensive significance. -- Cheryl B. Montoya, San Antonio TX

The recreation of the consciousness would be the least of the issues. It seems that consciousness emerges as a consequence of the number and type of neurons in the brain, their position and their connectivity, so if all these elements would be exactly transferred (an impossible task for the foreseeable future) the person should be exactly the same. More difficult will be to make the whole transfer quickly enough, so no interruption in life should take place.

The lack of an explanation of one aspect does not disqualify the whole. If that were the case, what would happen if that standard were applied to mainstream science's lack of an explanation of what happened before the big bang?

The fact is, NOBODY has an answer for what reality is or where it came from. It could be a simulation, a thought or dream of an God, or for all you know reality could be nothing more than a brain in a jar being fed sensory information... a common 'vision' seen by those who have dabbled in LSD supposedly.

I'm not religious in the slightest, but I do believe many religious texts contain great amounts of historical knowledge. The thing is though, it must be looked at through the lens of someone who didn't have the vocabulary or knowledge of today. Events were written using the best descriptions and understanding of the times. And all this is before being translated fromi Aramaic, to Hebrew, to Greek, and then to English.

Not to get too far out into left field, but if you saw someone descend from the sky along with a thunderous noise, smoke, and fire.... (think about it from the perspective of someone with no knowledge of aircraft, computers, technology, etc), how would you best describe the experience? It's obvious that you'd think they're a god.
What better way to prove this is to look at the cargo culture of the South Pacific during WW2. These primitive tribal people living around the South Pacific were doing their thing for centuries and out of nowhere people came from the sky inside metal birds, had all kinds of magical technology, and gave them cans of corned beef and SPAM. Less than a year later they left, never to return. And on very rare occasion they'd see an aircraft pass, high in the sky above their little island. What do you suppose they thought of the experience and what do you think they did?

Religions are largely not based on simple writings (*cough* Scientology *cough* is a cult), but on profound events that impacted people, and as the evidence grows, showing that events of the bible and other religious texts were actual events instead of mainstream science's claim that they're just made up stories, scientists begin to run the risk of losing credibility due to being blinded by Atheism. The worst thing that can happen to the scientific community is for them to become the ignorant zealots they claim hindered science for so long.

I'm not religious in the slightest, but regardless of your clear disdain for people of faith, the Bible was clearly correct and 'science' is merely catching up. Perhaps in the future instead of being such an arrogant prick, you should be a bit more open minded and you might learn something. Apparently though, athiests more and more are becoming the ignorant zealots they claim to oppose.

We went from horse and carriage to landing on the moon in 70 years. After reading the ‘Gita’, written thousands of years ago in ancient India, I am quite convinced humanity has risen and fallen multiple times in the past. Even the Mayans state the world had been destroyed and rebuilt seven (?) times.

Interesting, but proving that you can transfer a human, mind and spirit intact would effectively mean that one poor schlub would have to walk into the imaging chamber not knowing if 'he' [or she] would be coming out the other side memory and spirit intact. I suppose if I were a terminal cancer patient and knew that I had a very limited amount of time to live I might volunteer - but then how would they know that any ill result was because of the process or as a result of the illness ...

    Hi Nathan,

    Great information thankyou.

Evolutionary theories of the planets produces a model where the cosmic drag theory determines planets move towards the sun and therefore pass through the goldilocks zone. Mars therefore entering the goldilocks zone produces water in a stable liquid form until reaching a maximum position of which the Earth has recently (relatively) passed and then the removal process begins. Within the goldilocks zone is the magical phase that allows the expression of life and the universal templates of life to the Galactic energy systems and the World anatomical formation to exert the expression of terrestrial life.

    Greetings Walter,
The Gaia concept has been developed into tangents you may find hard to grasp but may open your mind to new understandings. The main point of which I discuss is the identification of the physical World body which can be seen in my avatar picture. This indicates the World body and anatomical recognisable parts. These correspond to the Earth zodiac zones recorded by our ancient teachers. The heads of Easter Island to the heart land of Leo to the land of Virgo, all 12 anatomical points combining to form the full body.....
Developed from this concept of the World being a physical body is the evolutionary process of the planets as a logical organic process engulfing huge time scales. This concept consumes a theory known as the cosmic drag process that produces a new successful model for planetary motion. The evolution of the planets produces a model where the cosmic drag theory determines planets move towards the sun and therefore pass through the goldilocks zone.

    Idk

Idk if this is realistic. Just because both countries had enough WMDs to destroy eachother does not mean they would have all been fired, and even if they were, most would be fired at the other superpower and not at other countries. Most of the world would not have experienced nuclear fire. While some of the effects would have affected the globe, there are many rural and isolated places that would remain mostly unaffected.

I heard many folklore tales were originally quite dark in nature, and told as moral or life lessons to educate kids about things like stranger danger and fending for oneself because you can only rely on yourself in hard times. It was the Victorians who altered many to become the fairy tales of beautiful princesses and wicked stepmothers we know today, mostly for the booming children's book market.

Hansel and Gretel had its roots in the Great Famine of 1315, when after several years of drought there were floods in Europe, when people were forced to eat leather aprons and belts and even old rope. People even picked through horse manure for edible seeds. Parents couldn't support their kids and many were turned out to fend for themselves in a mass abandonment, and many who never returned home were believed killed and eaten. I think it likely the original tale would have been much closer to historical fact than stranger-danger from some witch living in a house made from candy.

That first picture is really mis-leading as to the size of that tusk, but the second puts it in perspective. Amazing finds really for a group of dedicated people – Kudos to them, hope they can get the financing for their museum so that they are able to preserve the artifacts properly.
