Did they find Neanderthal mDNA or just in the Y chromosome? If the latter then it may not have been such a peaceful "interbreeding."

I hate to burst your bubble, since you so obviously have an agenda to prove...but James being the son of Jesus does not make him the son of Mary. Most Catholics believe that Joseph was a widower with children. So no, I don't think anyone is trying to cover anything up. Rather, archeologists are being careful. As they should be.

I hate to be negative however, having grown up the child of an art dealer, I am reticent to accept the 'it has an ancient fungus that proves...' proof. I have personally handled a document that was forged by taking a leaf of a book from the early 18th century, and written with a nibbed dip pen in homemade oak gall ink ... that if someone nipped a small sample of would test out as the paper being the correct age, and the composition of the ink would have tested as age appropriate.I can see someone obtaining an ossuary from the right area and right age range, carving the inscription and using a small tube to oxidize the new cut marks to make them appear to be the correct age. What I would accept as documented evidence is unfortunately difficult - records of the time period optimally something from a location like Pompeii that has been buried for the majority of the past 2 millenia.

I was told about this site by Jan van der Crabben the publisher of Ancient History Encyclopedia. Since I was a little girl in Virginia, I have had dreams of living in Atlantis. As I grew older I saw other lives in dreams and visions where I lived in Egypt, China, and in fourteenth century Italy.I have always loved to read anything of ancient history, especially of Rome and the Etruscan worlds, I was fortunate to live in Italy for two years, while my husband was stationed there in the military. Recently I completed a manuscript telling about all these past lives and how those memories have influenced my present life, I am looking for a publisher who would be interested in this story from Atlantis to the 21th century.

Gary, The importance of the discovery was that the new evidence indicates that Mary Magdalene was the successor of Jesus. It follows on that she sjould be recognised as the first Pope. This would have major implications for the Catholic Church because it would pave the way for the ordiunation of women to the priesthood. It is quite possible that if Mary Magdalene was given her true recognition at the beginning of christianity there still would be only one Christian church. Michael (author)

    Two things:

First: the triangle/pyramid-shape is a symbol of the womb. And the entrance of for example the Kufu-pyramid has the stones stacked in a chevron-shape which is a symbol of the vulva. As these old cathedrals have often a vulva shaped entrance as well. So pyramids indeed probably have a initiatory or funarary function; returning via the womb to mother earth.

Second: I once had a very strange experience with low frequency vibrations. I was sitting in my garden and behind the hedge there was a traffic light where apparently a very heavy truck stopped and then pulled up again. Because the truck was so heavy that pulling up made the whole ground vibrate in a circle of appr. 25 meters wide and some ten meters deep. And I was in that circle and my body apparently vibrated as well for a couple of seconds. And suddenly I could see in the earth: not with my eyes but apparently with a rudimentary sonar-system we still have. The earth seemed TOTALLY transparent in this vibrating field. It was black and white and it 100% naturaly fitted to the view I saw with my eyes. So with my eyes I saw the normal color view and below that I saw this black and white image. The black and white image looked like a night with a full moon: so, dark but at the same time very clear.

It only lasted for a couple of seconds but it seemed totally natural.

I think this is how animals feel or litterally see earthquakes, vulcano-eruptions and tsunamis coming. Earthquakes and vulcano-eruptions sometimes days or hours in advance.

And maybe this was part of the happenings in the pyramid as well; maybe with the help of these ultrasounds being able to see through walls?

The plaque was designed by American artist Maxine Miller and is made and distributed in the UK by Nemesis Now. It is called 'Pentagram' and represents the duality of the God and Goddess and the five elements, it is not satanic.

The symbol that is termed Pentagram is a depiction of the path of Venus (the feminine divine and Ruler of Taurus) but never a God-ess)) as Venus travels on the background of the sky.

To describe this as Satanic reflects the rabid christian stance. Christianity had to remove our Pagan ancestors who refused to convert at the tip of a sword but the pen (media) is mightier.
Ask any old American politician how the media is utilised to their advantage when they
wish to attack and destroy yet another Sovereign country.

I am appalled that we are still using words that pathetically attempt to make Pagan out to be some satanic cult. It was the philosophy and spirituality of my revered ancestors.

Please people update yourselves and accept that your ancestors were Pagan.

The answer to the articles heading question is: Absolutely not. This article has liberally used the word 'believe' and it is all belief and belief is never the truth.

They, whoever 'they' are, do not and will not understand the true meaning of the images.

If that is the plaque in question, it's definitely pagan, not Satanic. That's NOT Baphomet. A point-down pentagram is NOT always associated with Satanism or evil, and modern Satanism isn't evil in any case.

Some Wicca sects use the point-down pentagram for specific ranks in the priest/priestesshood.

But if you look closely, you will see a second figure in the center, likely a goddess, who is probably depicted having sex with the horned god there, and if you assume she is on top, then the point is up anyhow.

Besides, when have you ever seen Satanists use knotwork? That think looks like it came out of every modern occult store, ever.

Not to mention the goddess with her arms in the air at the "top" point of the penticle.

So you have chosen to completely ignore the opinion of the expert, president of the UK Pagan Council, Mark Black and declare that the find was Satanic because the pentacle had two points at the top.  Well you are completely wrong.  When the pentacle has the point at the top it represents the Goddess, with two points at the top it represents the God.  It looks like the God has antlers not horns and represents a Celtic God.  Please do not ignore experts just to get a good headline, pagans suffer enough from misunderstandings like this as it is.  Please use your influence to educate people and not to cause more fear and hatred.

Piezoelectric action is huge stone stack this manner must produce tremendous flux in temporal energy. The reaction occurs not only in the legacy of lazy electrons in the past of the moment but energizes the protons pulling on the edge of the future. The trans-dimensional pull must allow incredible exchanges between realms. When we view time, we do not separate our point of view from the physical dimensions. In the 4th dimension time is a point, our greatest minds see time as a baseline when it actually is not. To see time as a line is a 5th dimensional action which comes naturally to our 5th dimensional minds. Beings in these ancient times may have also choosen a higher conscious which allowed actual magic to occur, that being acts based in the next dimension occuring due to purposefully creating machines to achieve these acts. When one considers time as a point of absolute !NOW! the course of science changes. Gravity becomes the obvious force of time in paradox, everything attempting to occupy the exact same moment within the scope of the moment. Scale is a curious thing because an atom is huge if you live on an electron. Earth from the next Galaxy is smaller than an atom, and even more difficult to find. Beyond humans holding a different conscious that allows vision into eternity, there are very likely beings we consider to be aliens which transend the temporal barrier to visit this one. Here again distance and scale are confusing. Not enough information on how exactly things change other than this one has seen a very different realm in that accord. As a species we do not trust the extra-dimensional information coming by the way of Shamanic practices, yet they see us as the fools...food for thought.

One thing has come to my attention, though, and that is the misspelling of quite a few words in most every article. Please try to use spell-check. It would add a little more professionalism to your application.
Again, thank you all for your hard work and dedication in delving into our human past. Keep up the good work.

Somehow, I knew it. I never did buy into the theory that homosapiens wiped out all the Neanderthals in some big war or genocide. Especially since we humans have a decent percentage of their DNA in ours. This seems far more likely.

'Cave people' weren't at all like the stereotype that media likes to portray; violent, brutish and stupid. They took care of their old and disabled, worked together to bring down large prey. Buried their dead with flowers. Created tools, made an incredibly effective glue from what they had at hand. Honestly, I feel like our distant ancestors were a lot more advanced and 'evolved' than we give them credit for.
