The Bible's account of the earth separating from the atmosphere is almost identical to science's. There are numerous stories from around the world, not just of Jewish/Christian origin, that specify the rainbow as a new, never before seen phenomenon having shown up immediately after the deluge. An ultra humid atmosphere would indeed have protected life from cosmic radiation, reasonably indicating longer life spans as constant bombardment from radiation is a distinct part of the aging process.
To put this in perspective, imagine a large radioactive body impacting the earth, exploding and spreading its radioactivity over the entire surface. Those who survived the initial impact would likely still be able to breed but with the new planet wide radioactivity levels, lifespans would be significantly reduced. After thousands of years, the new shortened lifespan would be the norm and it would be difficult for people to accept that their ancestors were once something more than they are. Records, from the "before" time, would eventually be dismissed by those in power as myth and thus dismissed by the masses. People would, as we are today, be ridiculed for believing in magic and fairy tales. However, as science progresses, we are beginning to understand that not only are these magical feats possible but that it's probable that they actually happened.
Back to the rainbow. There's an American Indian legend of the before time that tells of another people who had many large fires, fires larger than any that the ancient Indians ever had. Either the fires caused the flood or the flood was devised to extinguish the fires, I don't remember but as the waters rose, all people sought higher ground. A great chief eventually stretched a buffalo skin from mountain to mountain, protecting all under it from the water. As the waters receded, the skin dried and shrank until it was a thin band, stretching across the sky and had turned from white to all of the colors of the flowers. They understood this new development to be an indicator that this kind of destruction would never happen again.
The atmosphere and/or solar output of today is evidently very different than it was then. We should expect that life is probably very different as well. Don't get me started on what we used to be before our current "perfected" version. Oh, and yes, the remaining giants have indeed gone underground. I could go on and on but won't. Enjoy your lives. I will enjoy mine.

There are evidences of many other visitors here in North America prior to C Columbus. There are Runic markings in the South and Southwest along with Ogham markings along the East Coast that are way older. In New Mexico there are original or paleo-Hebrew texts of the Ten Commandments. In the Grand Canyon there are Egyptian hieroglyphics. These kind of things are glossed over as anything but real by academic types, but that is to be expected so as not to upset their paradigm of whatever they were told in school. Sooner or later, conventional wisdom (the Earth is flat) is replaced by facts (the Earth is spherical). Barry Fell has a book, "America B.C." that is good on his explanation of Ogham markings and Gloria Farley's book "In Plain Sight" covers Ogham as well as Runes in Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, and N Mexico.

As I have learned, Cleopatra was not 'a great beauty' to behold. She was very well educated, very intelligent and clever. Armed with those main characteristics, that is what made her attractive to the well educated, intelligent and clever Roman rulers. She could converse on their level and keep them interested. Cleopatra was their equal. Who else would a ruler take as his wife by his side; a stable full of concubines if he wished? The tales of her physical beauty are just that, brought down through the ages. Her 'beauty' was in her wiles, personality and intelligence. I question the tales of the beauty of Helen of Troy and her war causing abilities too. It has been repeated so much it has great potential to have little fact woven into a lot of fanciful story telling.

Jack, I can understand that you might be put off on this topic, but there are plenty of other things on this site to read about. No one is forcing you to read, or believe in this particular subject.

That being said, there are too many stories, accounts and/or pictures from the past that point to this being factual. As the saying goes, 'History is made by those who have conquered. There seems to be a concerted effort to keep evidence of this from the publics eye. This, coupled with the lack of interest by the masses, makes it far easier to cover up, and never come to light.

Then, when you only see it come out on the History channel as a show, or on here in articles, it becomes much less credible. It is either the Museum of Natural History or the Smithsonian, (I cannot remember which) who have had the bones, and they have mysteriously disappeared. Scientists have come forward in the past, and have said as much.

I am not saying that there isn't a chance this is a false or faked story, but there is too much evidence to dismiss it completely.

That's kind of the point of being A SLAVE is that you are stripped of you're identity and I'm pretty sure that BEING SOMEONE PROPERTY is degrading no matter what skin color you are...

literally the only reason you said that is because you're bias toward whites..

In a long letter to his patron (almost wholly filled with more important information), Corsali made an off-hand reference to Leonardo while describing followers of Hinduism:

"Alcuni gentili chiamati Guzzarati non si cibano dicosa alcuna che tenga sangue, ne fra essi loro consentono che si noccia adalcuna cosa animata, come it nostro Leonardo da Vinci."

    In English:

"Certain infidels called Guzzarati are so gentle that they do not feed on anything which has blood, nor will they allow anyone to hurt any living thing, like our Leonardo da Vinci."

Hey Jason. Scanning has been done actually - on the sphinx and the pyramids anyway. This is how geologists discovered the tunnel complex that ruins beneath the pyramids, natural or man-made is a point of conjecture. I think it's a bit of both. There is also a room deep under the Sphinx that geologists found ages ago but have been denied permission to excavate by the one and only 'Dr.' Hawass. Who knows what's inside that room/box. Probably a time capsule similar to Gobekli Tepi so I'm not surprised Hawass and his cronies don't want it exposed to the world. They are hell bent on sustaining their warped version of Egypt's history to the grave and beyond.

It would be great if more scanning could be done in other regions though. I would expect we would discover more sites inundated with sand or mud. Who knows what's hidden under the sands of Egpyt; and the Sahara for that matter.

Hopefully, in time, we can change things for the better and remove these egotistical baffoons who call themselves experts in Egyptology and get a real account of history happening.

Astrophysics generally discounts the possibility of widespread occurrence of antimatter in the universe as it would be expected to interact with ordinary matter, leading to large fluxes of gamma rays which would be easily detectable, and is not detected at all. Thus, the announcement the Dr Santilli had succeeded caught my attention. He presents his (copious) findings on the website of the Santilli Foundation (www.santilli-foundation.org). Checking possible references on Google Scholar, the first (and only) announcement of antimatter detection using Santilli’s apparatus is:
Preliminary confirmations of antimatter detection via Santilli's telescope with concave Lenses
By PM Bhujbal, JV Kadeisvili, A Nas, S Randall & T. R. Shelke. Checking the academic credentials of the authors, I find that two are from small, presumably non-research, Indian institutions, one is from Night Fox Productions, a Florida based wedding video company, one from the Institute for Basic Research (www.i-b-r.org) which exists to support Dr Santilli’s research and one from Thunder Energies Corporation. Since the bio states that ‘Currently, Dr. Santilli is the Chairman of the Board and Head Scientist of the new publicly traded company, Thunder Energies Corporation’ it seems that none of the authors have the scientific training needed to conduct what must be a difficult study.

This paper purports to have been published in CLIFFORD ANALYSIS, CLIFFORD ALGEBRAS AND THEIR APPLICATIONS (to give it its correct title) at www.cliffordanalysis.com . But in their paper, the ‘ff’ of this url is replaced by an applet causing to a redirect to the Santilli Foundation. I find this behaviour impossible to understand and makes me suspicious of the motives of this group. By claiming to publish in a well established journal, it gives the claim spurious support, which cannot be substantiated.

The paper itself is appallingly written, by a group who are astronomically illiterate. The repeated claim to have photographed the ‘Epsilon Alpha and Beta region of the night sky’ means nothing at all (these Greek letters are sued to designate bright stars in constellations, but since no further information is forthcoming, on their own these statement is meaningless). Further, they claim to have photographed ‘antimatter galaxies, asteroids and cosmic rays’. No competent astronomer could write such a thing as these three classes of astronomical objects have very different characteristics and cosmic rays are not detectable using imaged light. Moreover, they claim to be using only a 55mm lens with a 15 minute exposure, which is inadequate for the observations they claim to make.

The thing to realise is that whatever the primary optics of this telescope might be doing, the important thing is the detector. What is it? A photograph? Solid state? We are not told, but must presume that these will be using lenses working assuming the usual laws of optics. If his ‘antimatter light’ needs special optics to collect the light, why would a normal detector be expected to work for it? We are presented with a
series of images from this device. What are they supposed to show? There is no scale to show how much of the sky is photographed and no indication of what the contours of the detection mean. Given that these authors claim to have chosen an observing site in Sebring, Florida chose ‘for the clarity of the sky due to the absence of nearby large cities’, but then indicate they observed from a hotel window in the middle of a holiday resort. I can only think they are detecting stray light reflected into the optics. There is absolutely no analysis of the images which can be considered competent.

In short, the claim made has not been substantiated in their publications, dodgy practices worthy of scammers are used to further their aims and no independent verification of the claims has been made. All in all: a very poor effort. A lot more work, of competent standard will have to be done to convince anyone that these claims are true.

Those Conquistadors and the churchmen who sailed with them were bad news. Some historians say it wasn't western diseases which killed so many indigenous people because they had those diseases too. Most died at the hands of brutal soldiers who killed for treasure, while the equally brutal church killed many more "to save the souls of heathens who wouldn't convert". Anything else is rewriting history.
