The Lord's Face was so swollen and beaten. The Shroud is a waste of time. He is risen. Read your Bible and pray. Spend your time on the Living, Not the dead.

Believers need to spend their lives helping the living.

It’s also like the story of Sigurd the dragon slayer, from the Vulsunga saga. He has to roast the Dragaon heart for Regin. “When the juice foamed out of it, Sigurd tested it with his finger to see if it was done, then put his finger into his mouth. As soon as the serpent's blood touched his tongue he could understand the language of birds.”  He discovered that Regin was trying to kill him.

Artifacts found in sedimentary layers, or encased in solid rock, are dated by geologists according to when the material around them is thought to have been formed.

I don't think they mean man made the stone into the spheres 2.8 billion years ago, pretty sure they mean the material used is 2.8 billion years old, there is NO way to date the actually date they were rolled into a sphere only the age of the stone itself, its rock how could you possibly date when they were made unless you have the actual quarry and tools and what not, maybe even know when that region was inhabited with peoples using some other form of dating like pottery

pottery can be dated as it was actually made at that time but rock was made at any point between earth made on date and now due to volcanic activity, earthquakes, water erosion, tilt and so on..

all that can be dated here is how old the stone has been around not when the sphere was made

Dr Zahi Hawass left years ago, but his published science paper has incorrect data, and his “corrections”, which cause the angle to swing up to 10 degrees, have never been properly explained. His current position has nothing to do with his research papers.

If you wish you can read my research papers, or my book, in which I give very detailed arguments concerning the purpose of the Pyramids. In these papers it is argued that the Pyramids were built to plot the motion of both the moon and the sun, and, because it is an astronomical temple, I argue that the primary purpose of the Pyramids was simply to assist navigation.

Regarding the theory of a link to an ancient world map. The angle of the causeways are fully explained in my book, which shows that the exact same astronomical data extracted from the Great Pyramids can also be found at Stonehenge and at other ancient sites. Every piece of data is checked and double checked. The main part of my work though is using astronomical values to predict eclipses to uncover direct evidence for a world language in the Stone Age...one that was written down in stone.

For further confirmation of the presence of a world-wide text in the Stone Age you can read my latest research paper that confirms that geometric text found in Australia is identical to geometric text found at Lascaux Cave in France. This means the text must be at least 14,000 years old….which makes it the oldest known text. This work was done in collaboration with the Schoyen Collection, and to ensure  any potential bias was removed from the study, the owner of the collection initially give me only part of the data to align the samples used in the latest study. Then only after this was done did the museum release additional images which had to be analysed at the exact same angle as the preliminary study...the result was a perfect match to other prior work. This means that geometric artwork found at ancient sites was based on astronomical values, and the lines (or “angles drawn by the Causeways” in the case of the Great Pyramids) are a type of scientific shorthand.

The results also match my study of the Saksaywaman Wall in South America.

    http://www.ancient-origins.net/news-history-archaeology/do-ancient-stone-walls-saksaywaman-peru-contain-hidden-communication-001536

The theory that Stone Age people created a written text that is 400,000 years old is controversial, but the data consistently shows that geometric drawings were constructued to the same design all round the world at least 14,000 years ago. It also confirms that the same geometric patterns have been found repeatedly at many ancient sites…..see for example the geometric lines drawn on the Blombos Cave Ochres, which are 70,000 years old.

The development of Germanic runes can be clearly traced to the old Italic alphabets of Italy. Especially if you look at older versions of the Latin alphabet, you can see the clear resemblance. You still can with a lot of letters if you compare them modern Latin capitals, especially if you realize that the distinct angular shape - avoiding any horizontal lines - is an adaptation for writing in wood, so that you can avoid carving into the grain of the wood.

"Generally, the most common material for making runes is wood. This is due to the importance of this element for Norse mythology."

Or maybe it was just because in northern Europe, wood was extremely common, and paper and vellum were extremely expensive.

Nice article April. The Sumerian King List is interesting where it “seems” to link both ancient Sumerian history with the Bible (Genesis). I am in the camp that thinks the longer life spans were really longer life spans due to the pre-flood climate.

As well as being good stories fairy tales conveyed moral messages and warnings in a similar way the Greeks told tales of heroes like Jason and the Argonauts. Jason was brave but sometimes he had to run away from a monster which warns kids sometimes they have to be cautious, that haste can be dangerous. Later Jason would devise a plan to defeat the monster, using its weaknesses against it, which tells them brains can defeat brawn. These same lessons are often found in fairy tales.

Our own folklore up until the early 19th century was much darker, more scary than the tales we're used to. The Victorians made them brighter for the children's book market. Then Disney reworked them.

The "sword" in question was deemed to have not been made NO earlier than 1880-1890 after extensive testing conducted by the Lagina Brothers and their partners. It was debunked to be a clam shell molded Brass cast made sword. It was tested at one of the local Universities in Canada. Please do your research before you post such claims offered by J. Hutton who also has another name. You can google that too. Watch the episode that came out last Tuesday, first part of the show was about the damn sword!!

Dr. Cunningham complains that Dr. Zahi Hawass needs to "finally publish the correct angle for the second part of the causeway..."

This leads one to wonder about Dr. Cunningham, as Hawass left the Ministry of Antiquities four years before Cunningham posted his complaint!
