Hello Tom,That is a fascinating observation and I appreciate your comment. There is no doubt that ancient astronomy was often synonymous with astrology in ancient Celtic times and your impression that that section of the artwork may have been solar oriented would be consistent with the overall veneration being expressed on that particular kerbstone.

In the top left of the photo, not the highlight green parts, you will see a concentric circle that winds around from the center and moves into a smaller concentric circle.

I think this represents the “analemma,” an astronomical phenomenon of the sun’s orbit that plays a huge role in astro-theology.

The sun has a very strange orbit over the year and people have known for thousands of years that if you plot the sun’s postiion over the year, it makes a figure 8, with the “bottom” or southern part of the 8 much bigger than the top or northern part.

You can watch people like Santos Bonacci on youttube who know astrotheology well, discuss the analemma and how it works in the ascending and descending signs of the Zodia.

Mothership? Maybe, but it looks more like a hour-graduated sundial to me. Am not sure what it's doing up in the sky, but it was maybe the only way the artist could think of representing sunshine on one side of the coin as distinct from rain on the other.

The Vikings had no iron ore industry and liked quality Arab steel, each ingot enough to produce one sword or one axehead, or two spearheads or two sax (long knives). After sailing up one of Europe's rivers they'd portage the goods a short distance overland, then sail down the Danube to the Black Sea and across to the markets of the Middle East. They could return the same way or via the Med.

As trade the Arabs wanted North Sea fish like haddock, cod and plaice, whether salted, dried, pickled or smoked; wheat and barley; dried European vegetables; and sheep wool which has lots of lanolin to make balms, and is easy to work for making luxury rugs and warm clothing for cold desert nights.

But if wilful suppression of evidence is simply for the purpose of maintaining the archaeological status quo and to avoid having to re-write books on human origins (there is such a colossal range of ideas and theories already, some rational some utterly nonsensical), that any value to the government is hard to spot. For the land to harbour human remains of such incredible antiquity (if true) would surely be something to glory in, not despise. But there is something going on. When facts contrary to the official view are not just met with shakes of the head and naysaying, but often with strangely and unprofessionally aggressive attitude laces with derisive sarcasm. Something important is under threat here - something more than perceived loss of face.

Greetings & salutaions. Yes, I agree with much of what you say and allude to.

All life requires the consumption of other life forms and from a ‘human emotional’ perspective not so pretty. That is the nature of life. Not denying this at all.

Yes, ‘peace is in the eye of the beholder’, being far more subjective then objective, perhaps there in lies the challenge.

The irony of ‘achieving peace’ by being king of the castle, I have also found to be ironic, very hypocritical of us humans.

I agree and understand all of this far more then you are giving me credit for. I am not expressing something from a perspective of ignorance.

Although our human aggression and violence may have served ‘us’ in the past to get where ‘we’ are today, I don’t see how or why we need to continue along this current path of philosophy.

Is our (human) survival as a species solely to rely on our basic animal survival instincts ? Could we not do better ?

The idea/concept of peace I believe is a human construct, which is perhaps why it is so difficult to manifest. It’s like “catching a glimpse out of the corner or your eye”, but the moment we turn to look at it, it disappears.

It’s just that I see a difference between aggression/violence verses committing ‘murder’- defined as ‘the conscious decision (human) of taking another’s life (human)’, including fighting wars, which is mass murder.

I have also noticed that throughout human history most of those who speak of, attempt to live, advocate for peace seem to disappear or are removed from existence violently, are subjected to ridicule, intimidation, threats etc…. Almost as though an individual or the collective ‘the powers that be’ perceive this human concept of peace as a threat, for one reason or other.

Anyways, your right this is a subject which could be debated for ever (so it seems). All I was attempting to do was point out a ‘potential’. Akin to the idea/concept of the 6 degrees of separation or the 100 monkey syndrome.

    Anything is possible, nothing impossible.

My thanks for all of your comments.

So, ancients built a kickass pyramid and then filled the corridors in with sand and gravel? Ancients could not possible have been as stupid as these modern day humans that call themselves "archaeologists." Con men begun digging and said, "hey, that looks like a tunnel!" Idiots, the whole lot and people that believe it. It's a mountain!

The New perspective explains an understanding of the life-cycle of the planets, Kalpa. This basic process helps explain the Yuga phases, with time and size proportional to the movement of the planets. The basic process has been defined in the pre mentioned website ( http://thenewperspective21.wix.com/anewworld ) in an article titled the movement of life. This is a scientific hypothesised theory explaining the movement and direction of the formation of the planets. Very basically like a whirlpool the rotation of the planets are drawn towards the sun. A planet is born on the distant perimeter of the solar system and progresses through many phases until finally cremated by the sun. This attraction is due to the burning of the sun resulting in a consuming, luring, drawing, lighter, thinner atmosphere closer to the sun acting as a suction. This helps explain the saurya manvantara concept. The planets grow through phases from fertilisation through freezing and gaseous phases, as seen by all the current positions of our planets, until a magical phase of flowing water. Water is evaporated too close too the sun and is frozen too far from the sun, but a phase of stability allows for the expression of life (confirmed by Nasa) as a planet passes through this zone of water. As a zone of expression it is also a database for the record of life. Inferior planets that have passed through this phase have recorded an historical memory, recorded within this phase of water. So as a new planet enters this zone, an accumulative record gives guidance and experience to the formation of life for the next planet.
This basic logical contemporary scientific understanding of the planetary movement has given a new comprehension of the biblical structure from genesis to revelations being an expression of the planetary life-cycle. Although imaginatively expressed the fire cremation is a logical cycle for the planetary movement. As all are aware if the Earth was at a slightly greater distance from the sun, then the temperature would be cooler and a cycle longer and so life would also have been larger with the contributing factors. Within the cycle of water a maximum volume of water is logical for Earths movement through this phase, it is described Earth is just passed this mid point also correlating to the flood or maximum point of water recorded in history.
The New Perspective is an extensive study of our Worlds animals and it is known now that distinguishing features of animals are directly linked to the anatomy of the World as seen in my picture. (click to enlarge) Upon the study of numerous species it is evident a single species also changes correlated to the World anatomy, if residing on the head of the World, distinctive head characteristics are expressed.
It is known now that our ancient civilisations plotted the World body anatomically directly linked to the picture posted on my profile here. The heads of Easter Island are where you can see the head of the World. The 12 zones of the body are recorded traditionally around the World. The lungs of Leo the sphinx. The womb of Virgo. This sunken city posts the neck of Taurus. Stonehenge is the sign of Cancer. World zodiacs contain pictures of animals and usually rotate opposite to Celestial zodiacs, like the Denderah zodiac.
The evolution of life on Earth adapts to this process of the planetary movement, although the energies related to Purusha or more constant creative cosmic energies express a basic structure made more complex the smaller it gets.

This article is the first time I have seen that gets close to the (my) truth related to Snow White and the Jesus story and others. It is also my contention that the Bible is mainly Astrology bound. My understanding is that brothers Grimm did not write the SW story they were collectors/collators  of ancient German (european) myths (stories to maintain and pass down peoples history). The story of SW is far, far older than brothers Grimm. What walks on water? The Sun (son of God).  What turns water into wine? Via grapes, the Sun (son of God) What resurrects in December? The Sun (son of God). I could go on and on.

Mick: and 5 loaves and two fishes is Virgo (holding a sheaf of corn) opposite Pisces (two fish). oppositions have great significance in Astrology.

One is fully entitled to turn one's back on modern science (17th-21st century) if one wishes, it being a free country.

However, doing so does rather tend to demolish the prospect of there being any useful exchange of views between the two of us, as I would be attempting to slip words like "protons" and "electrons" into the conversation. One wouldn't wish to be confronted with a blank expression now, would one?

In passing, this retired PhD scientist once did a stint as a secondary school science teacher, and used to enjoy surprising the class with demonstrations of how easy it is to alter the balance between protons and electrons on everyday objects.

One would start by turning on a tap to get a thin stream of water, then bring up a rod of ebonite (synthetic hard rubber) that had been rubbed on wool or similar. The stream of water makes a bow-shaped deflection towards the rod. And I used to round off the lesson with the Van de Graaff machine (the one where pupil volunteers get their hair to stand on end) by dimming the lights, drawing the blinds before bringing up a fluorescent light tube, gripped at one end. Yup, the tube lights up, as if it had been connected to mains electricity, merely by holding it close to the charged sphere!

Then came the boring stuff, like having to indoctrinate my captive audience of young impressionable minds into the idea that protons are fixed and heavy, whereas electrons are light and mobile (all pure conjecture and opinion of course! ;-)

We can debate the definition of peace all you want--it is an interesting subject of discussion--but you will not find it in nature. A forest glade may appear peaceful to a human observer, but only because they are unaware (or at least unable to see) that everything in that forest is constantly engaged in a life or death struggle. Nature consists of everything trying to eat everything else, all of the time.

That beautiful deer may add to the peaceful vibe as she grazes, but I promise you the grass she's eating would disagree strongly with the idea that this was a peaceful scene.

Want some peace and quiet? Go take a nice long hot bath and relax....while trillions of flora and fauna living on your skin die horrible deaths. Very peaceful.

Peace, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. It is subjective, and often, reliant on ignorance of details.

I also find it ironic that the most effective way to achieve "peace" is to be so utterly deadly that nothing will mess with you. If there is any real peace in nature, it is only experienced by apex predators.

Where do you think 'static' electricity comes from? Physics has no answers, just conjecture and opinion.
There are only two 'forces' in the Universe, ultimately, light and dark. Electric comes from the light half, magnetism from the dark/invisible half.
Thus, static electricity is a manifestation of 'spirit' force. Or in Einsteinian terms, the 'energy' that is everything, must come from 'outside' the known Universe. Period.
