Nefertiti will be found behind that wall that just got sonared, feel good about that :) I strongly wonder though how that statue got broken of queen tire and Amenhotep III. There just may be another like it, strange guess, depicted painting inside nefertiti's hidden tomb. :), well i doubt that myself.
But the details on that statue are Awesome ! It is a grand thing, to read stories of paradisaical life so long ago, as we gather more and more from new discoveries, the past's story Grows, a stronger, truer light of what went on, how they believed, in what they believed.

Though not so old. it does remind me of question, where is the (oldest example or artifact) found of the Wheel ? not a gear. but the Wheel itself.

The origins of the Sumerians has not been discovered, nor has their language been deciphered/ translated.
We know the Sumerians existed because of references to the Sumerians by the Semites who later conquered them. The conquerors could read the Sumerian language and would translate it into their languages which we can translate. These scribes referenced the origins of the documents they translated. The Sumerians invented writing, wrote the first laws, and invented the wheel. If they took this from another culture, no traces of that culture has been found. I prefer to leave the above as originating with the Sumerians rather than asking rhetorical questions.

The Sumerians had what they called "The Seven Tablets of Creation".
The Garden of Eden is thought to have been in the upper Mesopotamia region, this is where Noah built his Ark. Abram./Abraham left Sumer to lead his people to the Promised Land.
Stitchen's works provide the above information. Stitchen cross referenced his works with the Bible.

The Bible states that Adam was not the only man. The Nephlim are mentioned in the Bible as in "The sons of the Gods mated with the daughters of Man.

I am not familiar with the filling of the Caribbean Basin, so I cannot speak to that. But I will look into that as soon as I post this comment.

The filling of the Mediterranean Sea happened when the final Ice Age was ending and the melting glaciers freed trapped water.
I only have a partial recall on the filling of the Black Sea. However, I am pretty sure that part of the waters that filled that Basin came from the natural dam holding back the waters at the Iron Gates. Something else I need to reacquaint myself with.

    Goodwinre,

Yes to book learning because I wasn't around for the Flood or the destruction of Atlantis. You have asked several rhetorical questions and I will let them remain as is because they dealt with matters that occurred hundreds of million years ago. Unlike the 2 incidents relevant to the topics under discussion.
The most recent stories of the Great Flood fall in between 1500 BC and 2300 BC. Without more evidence for those dates and a review of my materials, I would make a guess that would place the Flood around 4000 BC. The development of writing (about 3500 BC) being the reason that I chose older date.

The destruction of Atlantis occurs between the volcanic eruption that destroyed Thera in 1475 BC and Plato's story that occurred 9600 years before his telling.

Considering that the northwestern coastline was initially located along the Montana/Idaho border, I was wondering if that factors into your crustal displacement observations?

The Roman Catholic Churches mistake was in holding onto the teachings of Aristotle, the original scientist, rather adopting the theories of a contempory scientist.

I agree that the durupinar site needs excavation to end the controversy, but on another note both david fasold and david deal pushed ron wyatt aside and claimed the site for themselves, ron was the one that dedicated his time to the site and those two just came along and took over and came out with the reed ship and naxuan fiasco the same goes to bob cornuke who took the claim from ron wyatt with help from david fasold about the location of the real mount sinai in saudi arabia,is this christianity at it`s best??

I made the film, Kinnomaagewapkong, (The rocks that teach.) It took me 16 years. I was blessed to have been on the rock for readings, and teachings. I learned of it's constant use before 1954. The people would cover it up with leaves and pine needles to protect it.  The rock tells of life long ago, how one might conduct his or her life, and what will happen. One of the things I was told 30 years ago was that that building over the rock would some day come down. After all this time, I have been given permission to write about it.

LOWELL - You say ""His" instructions are a man-made set of fables designed by power hungry politicians in church garb to control the dim-witted, the insane and the lazy. Those four categories cover pretty much every Christian I've ever met, heard of or read about"

I read these sort of throw away comments all the time yet you have no real answers and because you think that is the way it is with Christians world-wide you broad brush all Christians.

The thing is you produce nothing to prove your argument which in turn proves nothing only what you say about Christians you are really saying about yourself.

Poor translations and misunderstanding has lead to this confusion.
As stated in the article oracle bones utilized BONES and or turtle shells.

    Dragon bones (english) is a translation of the characters/pin yin of ;

LONG GU; dragon bones, fossilized vertebrea and the fossilized bones of the extremities, usually that of mammals.

LONG CHI; dragon teeth. Are fossilized teeth.

XUE JIE; dragons blood. A resinous secreation from a specific plant.

Also in/around 1899 The four most common herbal formulas to treat malaria are 1) xiao chai hu tang, 2) da chai hu tang, 3)da yuan yin, 4) yin chen hao tang.

Dragon bone or teeth are not in any of these formulas. And although turtle shell has/had been used to treat malaria it would have been used in a multiple herbal combination. What makes the Chinese herbal system what it is , is they are masters at multiple herbal combinations. Rare is it that a single herb is used. Not saying that it is not used but only for something specific.

There is no philosopher's stone per see. The western worlds obsession for this external object/process to provide 'wealth, long life' etc,, this obsession for the external world wealth, possesions, power shall always remain hidden as it completely ignores that what is being talked about or alluded to is the internal alchemy process.

We are what we believe we are . Health starts and is an internal process. We take into the body the four primes or life, air, water, food and sunlight, which is mixed internally providing us the requirements for life.

    @Old Git Tom,
    You replied:

“Native, iconology is an inexact/ambiguous business, by its nature, for ancients & modern scholars alike”.

It could seem so, yes. But IMO this is just because modern scholars have forgotten the mythical context and it´s cosmological connections – which STILL can be connected because we can read of these connections in the myths themselves.

Just take the Egyptian goddess Hathor who is associated with the creation of the Milky Way. Just by knowing this, lots of ancient symbolism is cosmologically understandable by modern people.

It is my understanding that the Holy Spirit is the biblical defined title for the Mother Earth. All references usually refer to the terrestrial configuration and cosmological structure known by most cultures as an Earth Mother. This is combined with the Celestial Father figure. It is a contrast to the Egyptian genders but the recognition of the Earth figure is clearly defined by Mr Christ. At the time of Mr Christ the Zodiac detailed the Celestial figure divided into twelve anatomical parts from the head to the feet. These connected to the Earth zodiacs, which were observations of the World anatomy and changing characteristics of our animals, expressing the zones on Earth from the head to the tail. The Earth zodiacs rotate opposite to the Celestial zodiacs and are usually filled by animals and their anatomical variations. Mr Christ confirmed the Earth formation and defined the region of Israel as the zone of the womb, Virgo, the Virgin Mary. This is obviously next to Egypt which is the zone of the lungs of Leo the sphinx. All regions of the World consist of great monuments and stories related to the individual parts of the World anatomy. This on a cosmological level is referred to in the bible as the Holy Spirit.

Bless his heart, his remains have been used as a plaything. As far as DNA, they could look for a direct male line descendant. I don't know if one exists, but that would be the best bet for verification. Personally, I'd want to check several who were from different lines to allow for paternity discrepancies.

Since posting this comment just over a month ago, an idea has occurred to me that would explain the peculiar manner in which Silbury Hill evolved.

I have been in touch with the owners of this site, proposing that the idea in question be announced here, where it’s likely to attract far more attention than if published on my dormant Silbury blogsite.
But there’s a snag: even if the site were to agree to publish my article, that could take time, with the risk that I could lose publishing priority (“publish or perish” as they say).
While the idea is simple in principle, absurdly so, it could have important implications for the way in which one judges the level of technological development in late Neolithic society (circa 2500BC).
So, to establish priority (“you read it here first”) here’s my idea in telegraphic form.
Silbury Hill began as a gravel mound, with the underlying turf and top soil removed down to subsoil, and the turves and topsoil then placed back on top of the gravel.

I believe that was a device to create the beginnings of a compost heap, and that earthworms were deliberately introduced into what Leary and Field have described as the initial “organic mound”. The gravel heap with uninviting subsoil was a device to keep the earthworms captive within the mound, where they would then be given human mortal remains, namely selected internal organs and/or other soft tissue as primary input (while recognizing that earthworms are considered to obtain their major nutrition from the microorganisms – bacteria and fungi - that grow on the biodegrading organic detritus).

Silbury Hill can be seen as the end result of a coalescence of scores, perhaps hundreds of individual small ‘compost heaps’ each containing a deposition from one deceased individual, each “seeded” with a handful of earthworms that would reduce the soft tissue offering via aerobic (NOT smelly anaerobic) processes to something resembling inoffensive-looking, inoffensive smelling black soil.

Hopefully there will be an opportunity to back up the hypothesis at a future date with more information. In the meantime, I strongly recommend the book “The Story of Silbury Hill” by Jim Leary and David Field (English Heritage 2010) with its delightful artist’s impression of the early stages of construction provided by Judith Dobie (which can also be seen on the helpful display board at the visitor’s observation area).

I would like you to tell that to those few that are left who suffered in death camps during WW2. Or those Jews who were forced to give up everything they had and flee for fear of death. Or to those who were experimented upon in some of the camps.
There is too much information available to deny the nightmare that was the holocaust. I just hope we never have to repeat this bit of history because we didn't learn enough from it.

John Julius Norwich, a retired civil servant of the UK, wrote a 3 volume history of "The Byzantine Empire". The information I used came from the 1st of the 3 volumes. I forget the title of that volume, but it can be found from what I wrote enough.
I recommend reading the 3 volumes to all those interested in history.
