Speed of a planet's rotation is not directly relative to the distance from the Sun. Look at Venus' rotation. It is now known that it spins even slower than previously thought. It takes 243 days to rotate once. Much slower than Earth. So your diagram is wrong.

If you mean the ORBIT of a planet around the Sun, then yes it takes 365 days for the Earth and 670 for Mars etc...but your argument of Earth having had 420 days in a 'year' in the far past was caused by a faster ROTATION around its own axis, not a smaller 'orbit' around the Sun. You are severely mixing facts it seems.

possible yes, i can see how the yarn or thread would wrap around the rounded points :)
very good ! Be cool to find one with the thread still around it, even shreds of it would give that sewing reason, clout ! But then why fill center with wax ? how would wax benefit thread, string or linen ?
May help linen age, not dry out, from getting fragile ?

This one probably made in france, during ancient rome, perhaps bc. No one has figured out what they were made for. found all over ancient rome, in tombs, loose among buried rubble. They could have been for just home decor. ? Like some of us may have junk decor laying around our homes also these days.
But more suspected they had a real purpose.

Yeah! I have heard of them. They said that’s why God distroyed sodom and gormora. It was an abomination because they had mixed race-daughters of man and sons of God- and God only wanted people who were human to survive. Lot was purly human.

Naw, It’s modern witches that use crystals, incense, oils, gems, etc. Infact most of this stuff seems to have croped up in the last 50 years or so.

The stories of witches from norse sagas, compendium maleficarum, mesopotamian myths and just varying accounts/confessions talk about witchcraft being something closer to VooDoo. In the compendium they several accounts of witches picking herbs, seeds and other things, putting them into a bag/bladder and putting the bag under the front step of a neighbors to cause problems. They also talked about them making little dolls and putting pins in them to harm people. They talk about driving nails in an animal’s heart and then wrapping string/ribbon around the nails-this somehow untangled problems-. Some inhaled herbs to put them into an altered state of mind and talk to gods, or they sang songs or played instruments. They talk about necromancy, Onomancy, Oneiromancy and other strange forms of divination, including the reading of entrails. It seems that weather, fertility and divination and talking to the gods were the main things that witches did. But how they went about it, yeah, the accounts read more like modern Voodoo, with all it’s blood, weed and booze, then sanitized modern witchcraft.

I personally think the Hueyatlaco site pushed human presence in the Americas back to 280,000-300,000 years BP. Then there is the Nampa figurine, pushing it back as much as 2 million years BP. Not to mention all the artifacts discovered underneath Tabletop Mountain by the '49ers which were collected, catalogued, and eventually published by the head of the California U.S. Geological Survey at the time...those push it back as much as 350 million years, a number that is probably more a reflection of serious problems in stratigraphy dating than a measure of the age of the human race.

So 30,000BP doesn't seem difficult to accept, heh.

  • Reply to: Only 11 Tribes of Israel? Controversial Findings Reveal Danites Might Not Be Sons of Israel But Sons Of Greece   7 years 4 months ago
    Comment Author: Kara Moore

There were 12 tribes, and even though we may not know what happened to those that "disappeared" and were "assimilated" into other areas, we can't just disregard the Jews' own historical writings and call that intellectual honesty.

So the Egyptians made huge statues and steles, we accept those as being honest historically, but that doesn't mean they were truthfully honest about what was going on during the time they made them. When "scientific" authority begins to dismiss something because it was written instead of made of stone, then we would have to question even the existence of other writers and famous people that left no written records either but were later written about by others.

For instance, do we really and truly know that Socrates was a real person who corrupted young people, was arrested and made to drink the hemlock? We accept that without question even though we can't verify it really happened.

What the "Scientific" authority wants to do is eradicate and entire group of people from history, and everyone jumps on board to do the same. But the Jews have repeated their history since the time their history happened.

Let's look at what the Bible really says, Dan was born to the concubine of Judah. Dan was given the task of being judges. After the fall of the first temple, that was taken away and then when the second temple was rebuilt by Herod the Great (the first one, everyone confuses him because Herod is a title and not a name, two of his sons also became Herods) Dan was no longer the tribe that judged and was replaced by the rabbincal system that the Pharisees were.

But the Book of James mentions that all the tribes were still known at that time, as it says "To the tribes that are scattered". And Paul said that he was of the tribe of Benjamin.

So no, the tribes were not really lost, members of the groups migrated to other areas and forgot their tribal affiliation. And that's what people do not consider when reading about them. Not entire tribes, but members within the tribes migrated elsewhere.

And everyone who believes in "British/Israelism" are doing so only to supplant and eradicate the Jews because they are purposefully being anti-Semitic, they have proven time and again that they do not oppose genocide of Jews that even was happening in the 11th and 12th centuries. And also, if the Jews never existed as a group of people in Europe separate and apart from other European groups, then no single European country would even have the need to make laws against them being considered citizens of the various countries.

Sorry, but even genetically they are an ethnic group and every genetic calculator out there has a very well defined definition of Ashkenazi. On 23 and Me they are represented as Green, and everyone that has Ashkenazi ancestry shows the green in the results. It's time to stop pretending they never existed as anything but Jewish.

So there was trade with the Greeks, so what? There's even evidence of Jews in ancient Japan and the Japanese language has over 700 known words that are HEBREW in origin. And there is archeological evidence of Jews being present in Japan, and not only that, in Burma the members of the tribe of Naphtali were brought back to Israel and given recognition of being from Naphtali.

AND, there are more Jews than just Ashkenazi, which Ashkenaz is simply the used word for Eastern Europe. AND Ashkenaz was the grandson of Noah through Japheth. AND Ashkenaz was known in the ancient world as Ashkenaz. So all of you British/Israelism supplanters, nope, you descend from Japheth and it can be proven through etymology and ethnicity.

You don't speak an Indo-European language from Sumer for nothing, you are Japhethites. If you are truly descendants of any tribe, then why haven't your ancestors retained the customs, traditions and language of the patriarchs? Why did your ancestors practice their own forms of paganism with the nature deities and they all danced "skyclad" and burned whicker mans?

You can't even prove the evidence of Princess Scota being from Egypt, let alone can you prove the evidence of Jeremiah going to Ireland. So you can prove that people from the Middle East came to England to mine tin, but even then they did not leave any genetic markers on the population, which means they did not intermarry and interbreed.

But what was proven was that in the 12th century there was rampant anti-Semitism in England and it was proven that the oldest Jewish synagogue in Europe actually is in Cologne, Germany. As a separate group of people ethnically, culturally and historically.

Dan is not a Greek group, but we don't know that his mother wasn't Greek. She may very well have been because the Bible does not record where Zilphah and Bilhah were from. And it is very intellectually dishonest to trade a group of people for another when trade may have been the very reason for the artifacts.

And so what if the artifacts look stylized, human nature does not change and out of the 200,000,000 plus households in the US should prove that very thing, we like objects that reflect our own tastes artistically. They did then as well.

It's like trying to make monoliths out of groups of people. You would be better off trying to find the grave of Arthur in Avalon. At least he was closer ethnically to you than Dan.

The article says Sargon founded Akkad. Yet the Wikipedia article on the Akkadian Empire states: Although the city of Akkad has not yet been identified on the ground, it is known from various textual sources. Among these is at least one text predating the reign of Sargon. Together with the fact that the name Akkad is of non-Akkadian origin, this suggests that the city of Akkad may have already been occupied in pre-Sargonic times.[12][20] Please advise. RichardOtt
