My first encounter with the Anunnaki was in the descent of Inanna to the underworld, and her return to find Dumuzi living it up with a new girl! She sets the Anunnaki on to search for him and they are nothing more than Bailiffs of the underworld. Nowadays they work for the Inland Revenue/ Customs and Excise.

If they want to breed more of themselves, how do they do it without female Anunnaki? Perhaps there are females, and a Patriarchal culture could not conceive of a being greater than they, until they are corrected forcibly and definitively?

criticisms of the Kensington Stone have been completely debunked by dating analysis of weathering on the stone.... and WHY would an inscription made in the 1400s NOT be likely to have Roman numerals? It's not like Scandinavia didn't adopt Roman numerals when they adopted Latin Script a few hundred years before. In fact, they were in contact with the Islamic world so possibly had even learned Arabic numerals before adopting them from western Europeans.

There's a particular royal commission of a voyage to the New World by a Swedish or Danish king, can't remember the name of the expedition leader just now but its dates "tie in" to the Kensington Stone

cf. Gungy Whomp or however it's spelled in Connecticut; there's a "before Columbus" video on youtube which explores its possible connection to St Brendan or Prince Madoc

Farley Mowat in "West-Viking" asserts that the Irish and Picts headed west when the Vikings started showing up in their lands... he calls them "Westmen"

there's no known connection between the ancient Punic script, which was out of use long before 150 AD, and the evolution of the Elder Futhark; the one connection that is known of is via Greek script, which of course itself was based in Punic. Contact between the early German tribes and the Greek world was implicit in the heroic lays in the Elder Edda concerning the Ostrogoths and others whose territories abutted the grecosphere. Note also that "Hyperboreans" regularly attended the Delia, the festival of Apollo on Delos and some of them were resident celebrants i..e contact between the Greek world and Scandinavia was long-established even by the time of the first runes c. 150 AD

Many futhark are also magical in origin rather than borrowed/adapted from Greek.

The Phoenicians have NO RELATION to the Norse, there's a difference of a millennium separating them. The Phoenician/Carthaginian tin trade was with Devon and Cornwall, not Scandinavia

In regards to the Tucson finds, supposedly they were proven to be a hoax. The archaeologists from U of A, who had previously declared the artifacts as genuine, saved face by reverting to a time-honored Arizona custom. They blamed the hoax on either Mexicans or Mormons. In this case, it was blamed on both.

It was not "The Christian Church" that censored Galileo’s findings as you wrote. It was Catholic church. It is an important difference.

I really like this site. All of the articles will keep me busy for hours. My interest includes the study of Egyptian history, world history, and prehistory. I am also fascinated by the lost civilization of Atlantis and all of the locations where Atlantis has been found. Anyway, I hope that someday researchers will find the real  Atlantis.

I'm sure I'm not the only one to recognize the similarity of the "main chamber ...circular in shape, with a bench running around the perimeter... An altar ... in the center of the room." And a "perfectly circular hole drilled through the floor of the chamber." to a Puebloan KIVA with its' SIPAPU in the center. Add to that the spiral motif, almost identical to the Puebloan spirals found on solar calendars, and it sounds too similar to be mere coincidence.

Being a Dane, I can inform you that the original Danish name of this vehicle found in Denmark does not contain the word "chariot", which in Danish would be "karet". In stead it is referred to as "Solvognen" which translates verbatim to "the sun waggon". The word "waggon" in Danish ("vogn") does not denote a specific type of vehicle, it is more akin to a residual word, one which is used for various non-specific types of vehicles, vehicles that have no specific name of their own - hence "vogn" (translated "waggon") is not a specific type of vehicle, rather it is "just" any old vehicle. All that is required fr something to be a "vogn" is that is has wheels, and that it is not someother type of vehicle, that lready has a name of its own. I do not have a clue as to why somebody in past history have chosen to label it "chariot", as even in Danish it is clearly not chariot, and not referred to as such a vehicle either. Still, our official English texts in the National Museum do use this chariot misnomer, which is not used in the original language. It is an error in translation - but sadly, now the object is known by the name "chariot" so it will be difficult to change.

Also: The reason there are different myths featuring different types of vehicles for the sun is that there are different cultural contexts, different nations, and different world views. It is generlly a bad idea to try to reframe an object found in one culture into a framework that belongs to another. this brings confusion, not understanding.

well thanks for the interesting read and the encouragement but i am also too old with previous obligations keeping me from going into the grand canyon.
you gave more information about the movement of orion but still not answer the question as to why the hopi and ancient (egyptians?) were so concentrated on that particular constellation. it is an easier one to find in the sky from my house but i figure it has moved about since the pyramids were built.

Morning Yes It's Me. No I haven't. I'm a little to old but in my younger day I might have given it a try. The Colorado is fun to go downstream but its very hard to go upstream. I've been to the bottom of the canyon many times. You would have to get a permit from the Grand Canyon National Park Dept.

You might be interested in Hancock's, Message of the Sphinx. He explains that the constellations are traveling on the Ecliptic Path and Orion goes up and down on the Meridian account of the Earth's tilt. So at some point in time Orion's spear will hit the heart of the bull. This is also the reason why old Kiva's have to be rebuilt. Let me know when you find the chamber and what you find, you should be able to chase it down yourself. tom

i guess you haven't chased down your own instructions or you would have went on about what ever you found there, right? it is not the first tale to tell of the layout of the hopi tribal villages, egyptian pyramid orientation, and the appearance of the orion constellation and i wonder why did they choose that particular constellation?

Hello Yes Its Me. Nasa came out with a report: https://climate.nasa.gov/news/2428/study-solves-two-mysteries-about-wobb... that states that the earth stopped moving in one direction and started moving in the other around the year 2000. My definition of a wobble. They say it was caused by the loss of water in EurAsia on the 45th latitude. So the loss of a small amount of weight in a certain location has cause the Earth to shift. Perhaps a small amount of weight in a certain location could have the opposite effect? When I was a child I knew when my top started to slow down and wobble it was just a matter of time before it would fall down. Thanks for the comment. all the best. tom

Hello Yes its me. The exact location would be north of the intersection of the little colorado and the colorado rivers. Where the star in Orion's shield would be located. Get a map of Arizona and a clear transparency of the constellation of Orion. The star Rigel would be the ancient ruins of Betatakin, the star Saiph would be the ancient ruins of Canyon de Chelly, the Hopi mesa's would be Orion's belt. Homolovi east of Winslow the star Betelgeuse, Wupatke the Star Bellatrix, and Orion's shield would be over the Grand Canyon pointing to the Supai at the bottom of the canyon. All of the star in the constellation are represented by villages on the ground. The star in the shield that is over the canyon and north of the intersection of the two rivers would be the location of the site you speak of. I know this because it make common sense to me. all the best. tom

The writer doesn't know about the book "Cosmotheoros" of Christiaan Huygens (1698).
There is a description and a drawing of a birdlike alien, can't find it.
Live on other planets was impossible according the religious fanatic Newton.

Huygens was the man who was right about the theory of Light, NOT Isaac Newton.
Just because Huygens was Dutch, his legacy is pushed away in history.

Your reflections are those of a "normal" human being, whose life is centered on accomplishments desirable in human society and efforts towards fulfillment of ambitions serving to satisfy the ego and a sense of self-importance.

You could pause to ask yourself how many of the billions of human beings leading a "normal" life are serving the purpose of life.
