    re SANDRA2224

Hi Sandra there is a really good book that was written by Louis Lamour called The Walking Drum, the main character travels throughout midevil Europe and part of the book is about the tunnels. This is a novel however Louis Lamour was very renowned for his expert research and subject knowledge. I would tend to believe his account as much as current archeology in this publish or perish atmosphere. There are also many other well researched historical facts from the midevil times in the book, all in a very good read. Most used books stores will have a copy.

Egyptian history is fascinating. I believe that current accepted histories are incomplete and in many cases flawed. Much more to their ancient culture and technological abilities to learn.

Xenophanes and Plato certainly express concerns about literalist interpretations of religious myth, but they are by no means atheists in the modern sense of that word. It takes some rather spectacular mental gymnastics to come to the conclusion that they were. If you want to claim that they were monotheists, you might find some support, but beyond that lies mere speculation.

I agree 100% like the bible many people translate many was from the ancient language it was written in, and each bible is different from interpretation. So, the meanings are varied in each book. The knowledge, words, and thoughts that were meant for the future generation are lost to future generations.

it is neither improbable or implausible for ancient Europeans to have crossed the north Atlantic by small boat just as the immigration to west coast of America was populated by boat people sailing through the seaweed forests giving them fish and mammals to eat. water was not a wall or a stopping point, water was a highway. before you say something like this, you know limiting ancient peoples capabilities, remember, primitive doesn't equal stupid. or ask yourself why was Easter Island populated, that's both improbable and implausible but they are there. rev.

Ok, so we know humanoids have been living on this planet for quite a while.
Even more than 10k years ago.

We also know that in ancient times, the living animals and plants were bigger than they are now (Megafauna).
Now, we also acknowledge humanoids as a animal species.
So it is very likely possible that giant humanoids once roamed this planet, being part of the Megafauna of old.

The thing that really grinds my gears though, is that it seems like most of these findings are 'swept under the rug' with quite a hurry.
I ask why? Why is it so horrible for as laymen to learn about exinct giant humanoids?
I mean.. we also learned about giant Salamanders and Gecko's (read: dinosaurs).
Nobody got freaked out by that! We even have a few blockbuster movies with Dino's as the lead role!

It really just grinds my gears.

strange that all we have is Huttons word that he tested the other swords

guess you missed the part where Hutton lied about the E-Bay sword saying that it was a company mass producing it and that they had have been banned from E-Bay when it fact it was a small antique shop in Milan that only had the one to sell and it was not made out iron and there still very much active , or that Hutton has never revealed where the story of the 10 swords came from or showed any evidence of him actually doing any tests on the sword himself, add on to that his forever changing story , no pictures of any of the supposed other authentic swords and the tests done that showed it was modern brass it makes a compelling case that Hutton really is making it up as he goes along

    So.. what's next?

Has there already been any excavations on the seafloor there?
Are there any excavations on the seafloor planned there?

    Questions, questions.

If this theory is true, then we should be able to find a whole of stuff on/under the seafloor there! :)
Somebody go row a boat with some LiDaR equipment over there!

Aw man. This is exciting! Hopefully somebody will take a look there soon! :)

Cheers. I'll see if I can find the book online. I guess political "spin" was alive and kicking, even back in the First Millennium, and even the Pope wasn't safe from the fallout from political correctness in days when politics WAS the Church.

No, it's not clear. It's extremely ignorant to assume that. You seem to jumble all "fears" into the same category in this rubbish article.

"I think the most "clear" thing, is that something will indeed happen, and has happened prior. That's what was written. That it will simply happen again. Fear? No."

And yet again how many people invariably know or understand basic concepts of right and wrong by that same "little voice called consciousness" and cannot dismiss it no matter the situation? We were made to know! For it never to be absolutely dismissed in exactly the same way. Death is nothing to fear, and every ounce of pain you've ever felt invariable taught you that it abates for one reason or another given time. People work themselves into manic states over many things, but Proverbs 16:9 speaks to these things. "A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps."

Iust happen to wonder if the animal found near the nazca lines “Two parts of the picture, that appear to be horns, bear close resemblance to those that appear on earthenware dating from 100 B.C. to A.D. 600, during the time when the Nazca kingdom flourished, and it is thought that they relate to fertility rites.” Also the indian you can see in Canada, maybe part of what is seen on the piri reis map. I got me thinking when I was directed to the nazca, Peru site from here. I cannot get a close enough picture of the map.

Imagine archaeologists finding a road side motel 1000 years from now and what they might say:

Many rooms all alike and each with a sacraficial platform.
By each platform was a small shrine with a religeous text in it.
Each room had a small seperate area with a porcelain alter.
Each alter had a thin white seal on it to be removed only by the
    High Priestess strangely marked S A N I T I Z E D.
The finely woven synthetic floor coverings contained an amazing
array of dna and other bodily fluids both human and other.
There was a large reflective surface to repent their sins.

    you get the idea!!!

I found not only reading the christian bible, but also the vadas and the agnostic shines some light. The agnostic books state that religion was created so things would not be forgotten. The sad part is that man has corrupted or misintrepreted many of these books. They are still worth reading though.
