Kavi meaning Visionary poet is an indication the poems were in Tamil. Even Today the poets are called as KAVI in TAMIL.

I don't think its much older, just seems that way, if it was much older, then that papyrus would not have survived time at all, especially since it was not in some box or whatever to protect it. the log book was meant to be temporary, if not, it would have been buried with care..
Also: where there are chambers, does indicate strongly about tombs.. I think some out there just want it to be something more, being so fascinating, it does seem to be more, but it is not really. Move on..

Notably absent from all these considerations is the fate of all the thousands of Mycenaean Greeks returning from the war at Troy...not blessed with Homer's overview...they are surely candidates for piratical assaults along the coast of Asia Minor and Levant and to be candidates, along with seafarers from random areas like Sardinia and coastal North Africa should be candidates for a constituent of the Sea Peoples.

I must have missed a lot of "new" research. When did there become any connections between the 2 groups? In years of seminary & archeology, I have never seen that put forth (maybe in a cartoon?) Philistines were arch-enemies of Israel. Phoenicians allies "kin".

The persecution of these ‘pagans’ comes about due to their truths and knowledge as to how they perceived the world around them and how they interacted with their gods and goddess’s.

Their truths where deemed a threat to the power that the Church was exerting. Not that their truths where a ‘lie’ but that they where truths. They perceived; all that was to be alive. Full of spirit. Everything was significant in how they interacted with their physical environment their spiritual way of life. The Church wanted absolute control over the spirit/souls world and the physical world.

This ‘collapse’ of the pagan world’s way of live comes by the Church having killed off all those with knowledge of this world.

The ‘nobles’ those of wealth and power where ‘bribed’ with more power, more land to accept the Christian faith as truth.

The peasants, the serfs, the slaves, the general population where threatened with death, starvation, torture, confinement and persecution etc to become Christians. In other words, ‘accept the teaching of the church or die’.

The Church both suppressed their beliefs and took control.

The pagan beliefs meet their needs as a people but was destroyed by the Church. Hence the Christian faith did not so much as ‘offer the masses a chance at a better after life’, but rather accept the ‘new teaching’ and you just might have a ‘life’.

Occam's Razor... I would be very curious how many feet it is from the beginning of the Ramp to the bottom. To dig a Straight ramp this long down to the seep would take much more Resources and Material removed or even a tunnel to reach the depth needed to actually reach the water in a loose Sand Environment like this. They walled it and "Handled it" Quite well for working in loose sand.

I have done this personally...You take out one bucket full of Sand and two fall into it's place.

Another case of "We know it is just a spiral ramp to Seep Water". But hey...We can get at least two or three years of Grant "Party Funds" to invent a ridiculous theory that "Doesn't hold water" and not have to give it back even though it is Bunk.

The subject matter is great...the Theory is Grant Fraud. When are those of us who truly care about History going to Chastise those that squander Tax funds or Donations away from truly realistic and legitimate projects?

Desert "Seep Wells" like this take awhile to refill. So while one is refilling it's self by seepage over a few hours you pull from another one. Native Americans would dig numerous holes down to an Underground water course in a ravine to do the same.

Not only are there far too many of them to be kraals for cattle....do you see any openings in them for gates to let the animals in or out? They weren't kraals! Tellinger's on to something. It's time SERIOUS research was done here, not some convenient explanation.

My Lineage is from Scotland...Clan Craig. They settled in Texas so the Sir thing is a Southern habit of respect Derek. I have to run and take care of some business but will try to get back to explore this some more today. To clarify...I should have titled the last reply as "Pre-Ogham" then?

What I am finding is a connection in Symbolism around that Latitude and really believe the original source to be Scandinavia. One could literally jump on a chunk of Ice, naturally drift Easterly, and easily connect with the shores of every continent but Australia and return to where you started without it melting even in the Summer. I think the Polar Cap was the center of the known world and expansion...Some possibly very very ancient... all spread South from there. "The Ones that were here before".

Travelling round the northern latitudes does make for a much shorter trip…..and it makes sense because most of the early trips would have been coastal until they had worked out the general shape of Earth.

The thing I notcied about current theory, which argues every single time we see a common link anywhere in the world, is archaeologists have only one tool in their bag. They always argue that it must be just a coincience. How do you work with a theory like that?

….also no need for the sir stuff. I’m from Scotland and where I live we’re down to earth.

The Tree within the Human and the human within the tree is similar to the Kabbalah, or the jewish Tree of Life. The tree with in the human is symbolic of the nervous system, The brain are the branches, the spinal cord the trunk, the rest of the nervous system the roots that ground one into the physical dimensions. There are lots of trees within mythology from all over the world, it is fasicnating when we can read ancient literature and see the hidden secrets that exist within the story.  Yggdrasil is ‘Odin’s Horse’, symbolic of Odin’s power.Horse symbolizes power. This is a story about the spiritual power (possibly knowledge) Odin gained through his death, rebirth/ divine life spiritual challange as Odin searched for the Godhead or divine source buried deep within himself.

I find it fascinating that historians look at the myths, symbolism, meditation techiques and altered states of consciousness that are written about in the bible as history. Once one is called to serve the divine source, there is a period of wandering lost. Fourty symbolizes the period of time that one wanders lost seeking their spiritual path forward. In the time one wanders lost,( in the Moses myth fourty years in the Jesus myth fouty days) one is spiritually cleansed and purified and is tested and challenged by the divine source until one is ready to fulfill one’s divine purpose. The time period is not fourty days or fourty years this is a symbolic number representing the four sacred directions of the medicine wheel or cycle/ spiral of life and learning that one wanders through to learn a spiritual life lesson. Once one comes to a place of eldership  one can teach the spiritual lesson. It is all really quite simple when one can read the bible from the perspective of a Seer, one who sees the hidden spiritual secrets. I am not going to give away any more of my knowledge I am one day going to write a book on all the esoteric secrets hidden in the The Exodus, in the Synoptic Gospels and The Revelation to John.

How can the other half of the pot be so missing ? surely buried as a whole, both halves would still be right there. Other hand if broken then buried, why bury only half ? so where is other half ? And just how did both halves get so separated ? as to one to be found, the other to seem non-existant.
