And finally, I don't know what the shrunken heads of the Jivaro tribe (literally the only ones in the world who came up with it) have to do with this, they are completely unrelated to this subject.

Great article, expect these towns would have created a great example of Jesuit benevolence so would love to know why they were expelled, especially as a result of this 'enlightenment', can only guess for political reasons? Am assuming the area is still largely Catholic.

Nor they were insurgents themselves, probably the wives of one, similar to what happened to Huascar, forced to watch his harem and mother being tortured and assassinated by Atahulpa’s warriors.

And these weren’t sacrifices as Garrido himself states.

Now the rope thing is just Garrido's guess, while there are no mention ropes being used in the old Spanish accounts, is very well known Incas severed the heads of revolters and placed them on pikes for everyone to think twice before rebelling.

I can't understand why everyone expresses such shock over this. Some tribes in the western Amazon basin are headhunters to this day. I wouldn't be surprised if some were cannibals also.

Well I discovered I am of Jewish descent only about 8 years ago –I’m now 79– and I guess I’m an Ashkenazi Jew, if I want to claim anything particular, since my mother was Swiss & my father of English/Irish descent. I have never heard some of the terminology used by other commenters since I do not ‘belong’ to any defined Jewish groups, but I do like to read as much about this subject as possible. I do know now that there are many Europeans whose families hid their Jewish roots & like me have no idea who their ancesters were – some of those getting all Nazi lately may well be Jewish themselves !!!  I tell everybody about this, but watching what is happening now in both the US & UK - is it time to go into hiding again ?  Good grief humans, why are you so predictable?  I have always felt outside all the human nonsense since I’m an Introvert anyway, not given to ‘joining’ the silly stuff going on all around me, but now what – do we all have to worry about other people’s gang mentality – I had thought we had all grown above this stuff since WW2...but apparently not !   I’m sorry, I refuse to join the ‘human gang’ – I’m just me, free to see the world my own way, and nobody tells me what to be ! If I do not keep my nose above the clouds I will only get bogged down in the quagmire that is human life ! And everybody SHOULD be able to just be the soul they are, living inside a shell they did NOT choose – we just arrived & found ourselves here – that is the true reality, so any ‘category’ is pure nonsense really !

Since the academic world are totally committed to Noah’s Flood not having occurred, that’s not surprising. ALL of the claims Ron made have been checked out by others – most sites you can visit yourself, INCLUDING THIS ONE. My point was that Wyatt, not Deal, was the discoverer...

  • Reply to: It Need Not Be Religion VS Science: Extra-Terrestrial Life and Religious Beliefs Combine   4 years 8 months ago
    Comment Author: Terry Tibando1

This article shows a limited understanding of the harmony between science and religion which is primarily based on the old (Judaic) and new (Christian) testaments of the Bible and the limited knowledge reveal by Islam on this subject. Further research into other religions, especially the Baha'i Faith makes it uncontestable that science and religion are essentially one and the same as they come from the same divine source, from the divine ocean of all knowledge, God!
Baha'u'llah, the most recent Manifestation of God for this day and age and the prophet founder of the Baha'i Faith states that science is knowledge made through discovery and invention, and religion is knowledge from inspiration and revelation. Both are eternally and inextricably intertwined!
Religion will never be able to separate itself through combative debate with science for to do so is to deny half of its knowledge base.
Baha'u'llah states that life can be found everywhere in the universe "Know thou that every fix (stable) star has its planets and every planet its creatures whose number no man can compute."
No matter where we will eventually go in the universe, we will find life on most planets of a stable star system whether it be simplistic microscopic lifeforms or highly advanced intelligent sentient beings! Life is everywhere in the universe.
From this we can see that astronomers and scientists have erred in their understanding of life in a star system, whereby they based its existence on the Habitable ("Goldilocks") Zone, similar to our own Solar System model. This is a grievous scientific error or simply a discovery they have yet to make!
Looking for planets outside of our Solar System that fit the Habitable Zone model of our star system, though, laudable, the scientists do not factor in the multi-diverse lifeforms on this planet which live diverse, even hostile conditions from deep down on the ocean's floor or in frigid Artic climates or in extreme dry heated environments or even deep down hundreds of feet in the earth. Many of these life forms are appear alien in form. From this we should never rule out planets with hostile environments, even if they are unsuitable for us to walk or live upon.
Once again, Baha'u'llah points out to humanity:
“Verily I say, the creation of God embraceth worlds besides this world, and creatures apart from these creatures. In each of these worlds He hath ordained things which none can search except Himself, the All-Searching, the All-Wise.”
    Abdu'l-Baha, son of Baha'u'llah re-affirms his Father's divine knowledge:
“The earth has its inhabitants, the water and the air contain many living beings and all the elements have their nature spirits, then how is it possible to conceive that these stupendous stellar bodies are not inhabited? Verily, they are peopled, but let it be known that the dwellers accord with the elements of their respective spheres. These living beings do not have states of consciousness like unto those who live on the surface of this globe: the power of adaptation and environment moulds their bodies and states of consciousness, just as our bodies and minds are suited to our planet ….”
“They have discovered that there is a great quantity of radium in the sun: the same element is found on earth, but in a much smaller degree. Beings who inhabit these distant luminous bodies are attuned to the elements that have gone into the composition of their respective spheres.”
Yes! As mind boggling as that sounds there is life on "...these luminous bodies", on these stars! This is something scientists will need to research and investigate because such life may not be recognizable whether on the sun or on such moons like IO that orbits Jupiter!
The point here, (there are a lot of quotes from the Baha'i holy writings that talk about this subject, too many to quote here), is that people in general especially, scientists and researchers need to look further afield and remove their myopic glasses and consider all things no matter how improbable they may seem at first! Research, research and more research is required!

Interesting speculation regarding the small size of skulls, relating to diet rather than possible relation to Floriensis. OR, are those skulls mostly comparable to Sapiens?

There seems to be quite a bit of doubt regarding Ron Wyatt’s “discoveries”. I don’t think many of them have been validated by reputable experts. Might be why it’s not in the news much.

I think I've just discovered the UNESCO World Heritage Site awarded in 1988 is actually 10 years older than originally reported by the article. 2018 is thirty years later, not 20.

Mars was never considered a God along with the other planets.
They are rulers or lords but never ever considered Gods.

Christianity considers the Sun of God but misspells it.

Hippo' was wrong in his belief of the causes of disease as doctors today are wrong as to the causes of disease. For example, there is no such thing as bacteria being a pathogen and nobody has ever seen a Virus. Retro viruses have not in 150 years of modern medicine caused a problem..... until now when modern medicine says it causes AIDs......... and so it does.
