We have much later writings which help get into the heart of this issue. Alexander the great for example was spoken of in a rather mile manner by the people and writers of his time, praise existed as is becoming of a great emperor however once we move even a century or so later we hear stories of the ultimate godly unifier/tyrant the man's history had become half truth and myth. No doubt that oral traditions would have changed and writers would embellish their stories for their audience
Enlil, An and Enki always seemed to vie for kingship within the stories (unspokenly). An was one of the first, Enlil one of the most powerful and Enki one of the smartest. No wonder the Babylonians would later claim that their national god Marduk was the son of Enki (and the head of the pantheon) and An would trick Enki (Ea's) favourite mortal Adapa into a mortal life barring him from a chance of immortality
Graham Hancock wrote about this 25 years ago (1995) whilst examining Rose & Rand Flem-Ath’s crustal displacement theory. Not so sure why this is being hailed as a new discovery. Confirmation is the best I can offer.
The comet is not orbiting Mars, but in its journey to the sun it is crossing the orbit of Mars. It will next cross the orbit of Earth. It was merely a reference to its relative current location.
Please rerea your first paragraph, then reread your article. If you can make sense of the comets location and trajectopy from the information provided I would like to be informed . Orbiting Mars?
Mythology is correct in noting that Baal, El, Enlil and Enki have been recast as Genesis’ God, Yahweh-Elohim. Genesis seems to be an Anti-Thesis, in response to and in refutation of, an earlier Mesopotamian Thesis about how man came to be created and why, in a location called Edin by the Sumerians. Eden’s God is also a recast of Canaanite gods, El and Baal, in addition to Sumerian and Babylonian gods.
Wonder if the spells written on the site are normal mesopotamian protective spells (spells warding off evil spirits, natural disasters and those of bad intention) or something totally new
The chemical, which today is termed LSD has been around for ever.
Albert Hoffman extracted LSD from the Purple Morning Glory seeds in order to be able to be able to patent it and make millions for his (big) pharmaceutical brothers/masters which I believe was at the time, Bayer.
Almost all medications today were and are still extracted from plants or natural fungal growths. In order to patent, preventing others which may be interested. 'They' have extracted that which they call the active ingredient, throwing away all the other synergistic ingredients, rendering their medications toxic and dangerous.
In Goethe's Faust the homunculus is very different from other depictions. He is a representative of immaterial birth and thus has a nonmaterial body of fire that causes his flask to glow. He is similar in ability to Mephistopheles the demon yet he endeavours to become human
In the Gondwana breakup, starting in the Jurassic, it was the other continental masses such as Australia which moved north largely causing the separation.
Antarctica was hovering about the South Pole then as it is now. It did not drift southward in the time since. One may see this Gondwanan breakup written in the relictual flora of Australia and South America etc, as well as the fauna.
The earliest known marsupial mammals appear outside Australia. Even the earliest eucalyptus fossils are from South America and, later, New Zealand.
Very informative. But in our time, there is quite a wonderful drug for various pains. CBD oil from the series: https://www.weednews.co/best-cbd-oil/. An Excellent fact is that the tool is very versatile. And from various pains, and even from insomnia, it is very soothing and works perfectly.
Mammals were around in the Cretaceous, not just "reptiles." As an Australian who lives well-inland, rather than on the coast where most of the human population is found here, I know from experience that some mammals do rather better in hot climates. Indeed, hotter climates than yours, most probably.
Is this tropical-like polar region new science or just old ignored science rediscovered? Cretaceous-era sauropods did not grow so big without warmth and globally-high atmospheric CO2 concentrations fuelling plant growth. Antarctica sees long summer days, which also would have promoted lush vegetation, which itself would have promoted rain.
It would have been a most interesting place for a horticulturist, such as myself (apart from the therapod dangers etc)! Rather than tropical-like vegetation deciduating during a dry season, it is possible that a trigger for a shutdown there was a lack of light during winter.
This is the sort of science that needs to be discussed in schools, the history of Gondwana etc. It puts global climate panic into perspective. Except, that is, for inferring CO2 concentrations from temperatures with modelling that relies on the false assumption that CO2 causes such higher temperatures rather than being a by-product largely of such temperatures (the latter may be shown by CO2 rises lagging temperature rises).
The reality is that if we were to resurrect these tree species etc, they would most likely require a hothouse pumped full of CO2 to survive. The current atmospheric levels would likely be too low for the high growth that they would have needed to survive such browsing, even migratory browsing akin to that of the African plains today.
Not sure where you are going with this… I mean yeah the earth was hotter. Great. But what worked for reptiles isn't going to work for mammals that have evolved around much lower temperatures.
I'm not a climate “panicker” but its being very oleaginous to think that either the climate isnt changing or that we know exactly why it is.
I’m sure that 90 million years ago Antarctica wasn’t in the same geological position as it is today. Probably was further north where the climate was warmer and then drifted south to it’s current position.

Quite right. It is not orbiting Mars, it is passing through Mars’ orbit. The incorrect wording has been changed. Thank you for the comment.
This story sounds quite similar to the events that surround the mystery of Rennes Le Chateau

Wow amazing discovery hard to belive they been found just like that by chance. Not often have a chance to read about such a thing in my homeland.

Interestingly the hebrew god is believed to be a mixture of Baal, El, Enlil and Enki with their more risque associations removed

"They date from the first and the second century BC,"
But they bear the portraits of Roman emperor's from the first and second centuries AD?
