Looks natural, but interesting as the boulder is clearly not in its original place and encased in clear and distinct layers of mud/earth. Is the type of stone local to the area – you say there are others? Boulders can be found a long way from their origin after being moved by glaciers (slowly) or floods. Or they can be moved and erected by people. As an archeologist I would certainly go and have a look at this if it was local to me

You don’t know they weren’t there, either. You think an Egyptian Dynasty would record or keep any evidence of such a humiliating thing happening?

Best thing with any object is to take it to a local museum. If they can’t identify it they’ll know who can. Also this way finds can be put in the record, so other people can know about them in the future.

Anyone who uses the bible to explain differences has to start with Noah, as God wiped out all mankind in the flood and started again with Noah and his family. If you’re going to take the bible literally. Just sayin.

The inferiority is genetic and impacts cognitive function. Breaking down mental disorders/psychopathy by ethnicity is very revealing. Everything you claim to be on top of is the result of getting it no matter the costs; usually at the destruction of societies and the death of thousands.

Heartbreaking, isn’t it.  Still, not for much longer, and hopefully there’ll be something left to evolve, when we’ve gone.

You’re so right, the first thing coming to mind is the old saying, “history is written by the victors”.

Then, all the recent finds of hominims, possibly suggesting several areas of human evolution, not just the Rift Valley.

History and archeology, the gifts that keep giving!

  • Reply to: Learning Ancient Greek Helps Dyslexia, Research Suggests   3 years 1 month ago
    Comment Author: Zucchini

    Hi All,

How exactly does learning the Language of Greek supposedly cure Dyslexia?

Reason why I ask I have dyscalculia, it's a Learning Disability in Math.

As I've learned Math is a Language I still have difficulty Speaking.

Just like Math is a Language so is Reading and Writing, to me this is how I rated Learning Disability through my experience as a child in the 80's, Mild-Moderate-Severe as my math challenges were even more difficult I changed it with myself Mild-Mild Moderate, Moderate-Severe, Severe-Severe.

I ranked myself at Severe-Severe with my Learning Disability in Math. Why would I do that because before knowing I even had a Learning Difficulty I got the sense something was wrong back in Kindergarten California's State Wide Test CTBS.

I got to the Math section an drew a blank, I couldn't answer the Math problem's none of them I wound up just circuling anything on that test otherwise I would have left the Math section blank.

First Grade was frustrating my mom got me transferred for another school that could test me and just like that I was diagnosed with having an Learning Disability.

The school psychologist feel bad can't remember her name today but, she tested me in Sense of Humor, apparently, I ranked High from that decision. The other problematic issue I'm African American Woman an in those days back in the 80s and 90s Society had enough going against us and the grown ups tried to keep labels under wrap when addressing African American children in the School System in California.

People tend to know more about Dyslexia than the other two Learning Disabilities such as Dyscalculia, like I said Math, & Dysgraphia which is a Learning Disability in Writing.

I know that the brain is still considered to be as mysterious as the Universe under Neuro-Sciences.

I can also remember whenever my mother went to seminars where visited with Kiddy Petty and The Learning Disability Seminars that she brought back pictures of the Brain arrows pointed to various spots on the brain where our Learning Disability was formed and A.D.D in those days in the 80s (I so hate they lumped A.D.D. together with A.D.H.D.)

In the 80s, I wasn't the child on Ritalin I was mild mannered.

Going back to the Brain graph that showed where my Learning Disabilty was the arrow specifically pointed at right side of my brain with the two big black words Learning Disability, an A.D.D. arrow pointing to my Front Lobe of the Brain.

If I as a child would have been aware of such a study like the Greek Language study in the 80s it would have stressed me out to know End.

Trying to do my Math homework I was up into 4:00 a.m. in the morning my mom helping me and that's when I was in First, Second, & Third grade because I could not give the answer to the Math Problem.

Not too long ago a relative of mine went back to school in their 60's taking classes pertaining too children and adults with a whole variety of Learning Challenges.

The professor assigned a group an one of the teachers brought the recording of their student in Second grade reading. They have an Reading Disability one could not mistake the sound of pain an anxiety as they attempted to read the Book from the recording it reminded me of attempting to answer Math Problems when I was that child's age.

I seriously doubt the exercise that Charles Lusdem the biologist and Derrick Dr Kerckhove I am merely basicing the Study on my Experiences. Living in Oakland, California I was placed in Special Education class known as RSP Resource Specialist Program.

I was in the class for the Math but, I was in the class with other's who had Reading Disabilities and others Writing Disabilities and even others that had All Three that made me feel bad because I knew how much Hell I was going through with The One Math.

For a cure to happen as these men Charles & Derrick for Cognitive problems experiments their conducting they would have to repair the right side of a person's brain where the Learning Disability is developed from within the Womb.

What I remember about those brain graphs with The Arrows pointing to the right side of the brain resembled a fist size blow to that area where the Learning Disability is first detected.

These Men maybe biologist but, it doesn't say which Science of biology are they under just that their biologist.

Also environmental issues could cause the development of the brain to formulate Learning Disabilities (check out the History of the Love Canal in the late 70s reason why the EPA was created).

So this is all I wish to share about this Subject of the Greek Language being a cure for Learning Disability. People with Learning Disabilities a re extremely self-conscious an often times our brains can be a sponge what we miss in understanding what we're to learn in school we instead focus on something else to make up for the missing of the school language.

In my case I fell in love with History through Dr. Martin Luther King. Jr and Natural Science by way of Whales swimming in the ocean which I consider a blessing from God. My optics was to share all the information that I had learned about Dr. King and what I had learned about Whales.

I'll end the conversation here until next time, Everyone, Goodbye!

The Torah, which is about 3700 years old, has a term for blue: techelet. We know that they could distinguish blue from other colors because there are specific words for purple (argaman), red (adam), scarlet (tolaat hashani, “second worm”), green (yirok, although the torah uses yerek for plants), and black (shachor). I have read previous articles that state the Greeks thought of the sea as like wine and black. Hebrews saw green and blue as separate colors and did not describe the sea as black, but blue. Green is often found in reference to plants, not in reference to dyes. Blue was used extensively in ceremonial objects, derived from a sea snail extract and produced a dye that was supposed to represent the sky and the sea (shamayim and mayim). So, I find this line of investigation questionable when applied broadly and may only be specific to certain cultures.

This builds nicely on Liebenberg’s hypothesis that tracking is the origin of scienctific methodology. It could be that the authors are overclaiming a bit, and correlating brain size to intelligence has always been a bit dicey (e.g. Louis Agassiz). I am sure the authors are aware of this, but perhaps this is why the work appears in journal with a low impact factor.

  • Reply to: Little Human Subspecies: Where’s the Evidence?   3 years 1 month ago

    Hi All,

I've learned my lesson after I went for so long and declared The Book's of Enoch to be equivalent to that of Greek Mythology now I've come to the point believing Enoch to be sound Biblical Truth; what's my point?

I'm not about to say that these Little Human Subspecies are a Myth. Oral History should not be so quickly dismissed just because it doesn't sound right in our ear's.

For example, Root's written by Alex Haley about his family accompanied all the way back before his 7th Great-grandfather Kunta Kiente was captured by Slavers in Gambia.

When Root's the Book was first released it was met with skepticism and sorrow for some of us nowadays Alex Haley Root's are met with far more doubt than even when it was released.

That's because much of the research was conducted with an combination of written and Oral History. The Oral History thanks to the African Griots who are Walking talking Libraries and Computer's in Africa presented his Family genealogy with how they share History by matching it with significant historical moments that took place in Africa.

Haley even introduced The Reader to African Dynasties The European World once claimed were myths and there was No Proof they ever existed.

In recent African Documentaries on those same African Dynasties have been proven through Archaeology, & Anthropology that they did indeed exist after all.

So I said all that about Alex Haley and his Family saga Root's the Crow Nation provides Oral History about these Little Human Subspecies then let's try Listening to the Stories; I mean really listen to the stories The Crow Shares about these Little Species of small human's why continuously say it's just Fairytales?

The Indigenous Tribes were in Mesoamerica before Europeeans arrival they would know what is living in Their Backyard.

In my case yes I believe these Little Human Subspecies did exist or could possibly exist right now as I speak. The last piece of evidence was on an Episode of Unsolved Mysteries photos of an mummified Subspecies Body held in a man's hand back in the 40s or 50s.

I know photos can be Photoshop but, considering the era I think that would be a little harder plus an Medical Examiner and a X-Ray machine showed the bones in its teeny tiny body about the size of a Small rat but, it was complete human body.

And that's all I have to say on this Subject of the Little Human Subspecies spoken of around the globe; I do know one intriguing thing about these mysterious Race Subspecies, their always not that far away from their close kindred The Giant Race, that people also have trouble believing in as well.

    Until next time, Everyone, Goodbye!

I think that both the Medieval Warm period (400 years) & the the Little Ice Age (500 years ending about 1850) were global events, not confined to the Northern Hemisphere.
Two books: Climate change is affected by many factors as the title of geology Prof. Ian Plimer’s excellent book suggests: Heaven And Earth Global Warming: The Missing Science.

Also Graham Hancock’s America Before, which makes a compelling case that the great flood of the Bible was caused by a series of comet fragments impacting Earth over a 21 year period, causing a period of rapid cooling known as the Younger Dryas.

    Hope this helps.

    John Doran.
