I was researching a related topic when I noticed the correlation with Saturn’s orbit, which was a bit annoying because it took a good couple of weeks out of my schedule to put the document together!

I empathize with you over the problem of not being recognized for groundbreaking work. I have written two books on very different subjects and also several academic papers with very little response. Unfortunately, the academic community relies on towing the party line for their financing, which includes publication, and anything that goes against the grain is simply ignored. Independent researchers then have to rely on alternative platforms to stand a chance of being heard, the problem being that such platforms are often treated with derision by followers of their academic “GODS”. You only have to look at the current global alarmist attitude of mainstream media to appreciate how the system works.

As for your research, you must be able to show a cohesive argument across all cases that implies a purpose and offer an apology for any case that does not agree. It looks like you have done your homework, so explain it in a table and see if you can get it published on this site.

    Good luck!

Is the Blackfoot deity Naapi analogous to the Demiurge of Greek philosophy? They seem to be the same. It is interesting how the Greeks and another tribe/nation, the Blackfoot, on the opposite side of the globe could have the same concepts concerning the Creator. There must be something to it. But that concept has been lost to Western modernity, namely, The Roman Catholic Church.

I agree with you the genealogies were not people's names and ages. I study them and know them well. I am curious what you're motive was for writing this. I happen to know everyone was damned without hope before they were born. By some god no one knows. I'd just hate to see someone have hit so close to home who denies christianity but accepts some other belief system built on lies.
I do want to share some of what I've learned, although you may already know it. But if, at any time in the future, you think it's worth something, I also have a lot of similar knowledge on other areas of biblical history. Tying a lot of it together. Although there don't seem too many people who want to hear the god they made up in their heads is a sick, bloodthirsty liar. I'm 42, and my findings may never gain notoriety. I guarantee, if you don't already know what I tell you, it could help you and many fill in a lot of the questions. And seek new ones if you wish. And if you know anyone who would be interested in publishing my findings, it would be of great help to me. I just submitted an article here, but was told they're looking for people with credentials in the field. It's frustrating knowing my answers are so right and being rejected.
The sums of all names with ages in Genesis, excluding joseph, is 23,999. One short of hours in 1000 days. The numbers stop at 930, when listed in order of appearance. They ascend from bottom to top, although not perfectly. I've created many charts, with the names and ages listed. Adam's: 130,800,930. The sum of 800 & 930, assuming they're hours, equals 72 days, 2 hours. If it were 70, when added to 930 it'd be 1000 even. My explanation as to why it's off by that is very good, but I want to tell you some other things. When 800 & 930 are added to the four columns beneath them, their sums are 8644. Just 4 hours more than hours in 360 days. Also, the sum of the last columns, age at death, of the last four last names (excluding Jacob, whose only age given is 147) is 708. As you probably know, the right most number of each name is always equal to the sum of the left two. So the sum of the numbers in those four rows is 1416. Also the amount of hours in 59 (29.5*2). And 29.5 is of course a very close estimate for time from new moon to new moon. Furthermore, the next three names up are identical. Except the amount of names, three instead of four. The last three columns sum equals 708, as does the first two. At least some of the numbers had multiple meanings. One 70 could symbolize 70 hours and days. The sum of the last 7 rows equals 118 days exactly (Jacob excluded). Interestingly, 29.5 short of 147.5, half a day off of Jacob, the only name below it. And enoch's row would fit well there, where it looks like it might fit. And although the sum of all three of his numbers is 730, 22 more hours than in 29.5 days, and there are other inconsistencies, I'm pretty sure I know what they did or were trying to do, and how it would fit.
The sum of the first 16 numbers (beginning with adam's) in the middle column is 8755, 364 days and 19 hours. I've seen several other possibilities how that number being off could relate to the rest of the chart. But haven't had a chance to explore it. Since the first 5 numbers in that column, except cainin's, are all equally separated by 7 or 8, it seems the chart was also comparing years divided into increments of 30 and 36 days. 930 may have also symbolized the 35th or 36th day of the month in the 3rd year. The 36th day of the 25th month in a 36 day month is 900. Since the 8644 I mentioned earlier was the sum of 10 numbers, they'd represent the 36 day months.
It was definitely some sort of a chart, attempting to solve some of the mysteries of the universe. Specifically why we have as many days and months in a year, and so on. I also believe they were mistakenly assumed to be genealogies.
I have a lot of other knowledge, including the stories of the garden, cain, abel, how the new testament came to be, why jesus never existed, and more. If you or anyone you know, at any time in the future, is interested in hearing more, you can contact me at [email protected] or 310-340-5641. I go by Eddie. And I'm definitely going to check out the chart you listed as a comparison to the genealogies.

If we should accept Plato's story about Atlantis, we may as well accept his statement that Atlantis lays beyond the Straits of Gibraltar. How far away is not clear, but the Doniana plain is the best canditate so far. Perhaps the tsounami that destroyed the city came either from a major earthquake in the mid-Atlantic Ridge, or the colapse of the huge glacier barrier of the Grate Lakes. Also, the Atlantean continent (not the city) as described by Plato may well have been the whole Iberian peninsula, as at the time of Solon (the source of the story) "peninsula" was just starting to be distinguished from the "island".
Peninsula (chersonissos in Greek) was introduced since the 5th century BCE, to define an island (nissos) connected to the land.

In the news this week is the announcement of the evidence of the largest meteor strike ever discovered, in Northern Greenland. Might anybody else think that that event might cause the destruction of coastal regions  along the Atlantic Coasts, the flooding of Doggerland, etc. etc. Seems plausible that one might find an ancient city right where ancient people said it was. After all Troy was once just a myth, but there it was, right where it was supposed to be all along?

Sexism and realism are a bit two different things. Stop throwing an ideology into everything. In my home country (called USSR) they killed thousands (i am not exaggerating, unfortunately) of scientists, if their theories contradicted the ideology. If something appears to be racist and/or sexist it doesn't mean, that it is not true.
As for the hunting women part... There is plenty of evidence, that women were a valuable resource and that tribal wars and theft over and of women were a common place, since many of them died in childbirth - direct result of humans getting a bigger brain. So, the possibility, that tribes would risk such a vital resource (tribe will die out if there will be no next generation) is unlikely, to say the least. In a more civilized times, when death ratio of women is lower and there is more humans around overall - sure. But before that - no.

Not sure how it debunks his argument. The fact that women are stolen from the other tribe doesn't mean that the theft wasn't sanctioned by mothers of the stealers. There is plenty of evidence that mothers were the ones who arranged marriages in later, more civilized times in many societies. And while i am not extrapolating and say, that it is a direct result of some prehistoric heritage (nor i even agree with original poster), but i do say that matrilineal society makes much more sense when you have few females and many males. It is much easier to trace your lineage and solidify the tribe around the common heritage in this circumstances, especially in the age where there was no DNA paternity testing.

The reality is that most ethnicities/races inhabiting North Africa and the Middle East today, are not the same ethnicities/races that inhabited North Africa, Palestine, around the time of Jesus Christ, the days of Moses, etc.

70 percent of British men and 50% of Western European men belong to the genetic profile group known as haplogroup R1b1a2, which Egyptian Pharaoh Tutankhamun, belonged to according to geneticists at Zurich-based DNA genealogy centre, iGENEA. Among modern-day Egyptians this haplogroup contingent (R1b1a2) is below 1 percent. https://uk.reuters.com/article/oukoe-uk-britain-tutankhamun-dna/half-of-...

Scientists who managed to obtain full genome sequences of Ancient Egyptians for the first time have concluded the people of the pharaohs were more closely related to modern Europeans and inhabitants of the Near East rather than present-day Egyptians. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/science/archaeology/ancient-egyptians...

The article titled “The only Jewish male hair ever found” discusses DNA tests that were conducted on ancient Israelite skeletons, dated to the 1st century BC, found in stone ossuaries next to the tomb of Annas, the high priest, father in law of Caiaphas, the high priest who betrayed Jesus Christ to the Romans. Hence it is thought that this shrouded man was either a priest or a member of the aristocracy. One of the more fascinating finds in this tomb, was the preservation of a sample of Jewish male hair. The length of the hair was medium to short, averaging 3-4 inches. The color was REDDISH. [Red hair is most commonly found among people of white European heritage, it's rare for non-whites to have red hair]. https://www.biblicalarchaeology.org/daily/ancient-cultures/ancient-israe...

The “Letter of Lentulus,” is an alleged eyewitness account of Jesus Christ, it describes Jesus Christ’s face as being a comely red and his eyes gray, clear and quick.” https://commons.orthodoxwiki.org/images/c/cf/Anon-Publius_Lentulus.jpg

Whatever the authenticity of the letter of Lentulus might be, if we look at scripture we see that the descriptions given of Jesus Christ and the Israelite peoples of the bible closely resemble that given in the letter of Lentulus. e.g. KING DAVID is described as “RUDDY” in 1 Samuel 16:12, and 1 Samuel 17:42. The Lord Jesus Christ is a descendant of King David, via his mother the Blessed Virgin Mary, who was of the lineage of David (Psalm 132:11; Luke 1:32). Ruddy: adjective. (of a person's face) having a healthy red colour: https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/ruddy

The ISRAELITES are described as “WHITE” and “RUDDY” in Song of Solomon 5:10 “My beloved is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand.” In Revelation 1:14, JESUS CHRIST is described as having a HEAD that is “WHITE AS SNOW” (Head includes face). The Nazarites are described as being “purer than snow, WHITER THAN MILK,” in Lamentations 4:7. (Nazarites = ISRAELITES, Numbers 6:2)

Thank you for your reply, a reply which restored my desire to continue reading Ancient Origins articles. I share your opinion, “quite possibly the worst article I've ever read on this site.” I felt insulted reading the article and the article doesn’t deserve the time required to address numerous bias and mistakes. The author described Joseph Campbell as an atheist mythologist. The author should have mis-characterized him as misogynist, in order to remain consistent in his inaccuracy. I suspect the author without providing credit, used Joseph Campbell’s high quality research in order to acquire the list of names: Lama, Astarte, Ishtar, Hathor, Isis, Maat, Artemis, Inanna, Asherah and then with his self-evident “facts” claim Naamah the source for the world cultures. AnnaHLv, your observation was brilliant that Indo-European, isn’t Canaanite or any other proto-Semitic culture. However, the Greeks were great in assimilating other beliefs, they would just say for reasons of improving.

This is quite possibly the worst article I've ever read on this site, and I've read quite a few. First, the "Flood" is, probably, deep cultural memory of the sharp rise in sea levels between 12,000 and 10,000 b.c.e. which have a natural explanation - a comet, a sudden warming event, etc. Second, the ancient Greek culture was Indo-European, not Canaanite or any other proto-Semitic culture -- which are great and worthy cultures of study, but not the source of everything in the world. I hate it when "Bible scholars" try to interpret the whole world through this one single lens; it does such a disservice to all these other cultures.
