"..likely depict ancient fertility goddesses, such as Asherah or Ashtarte”. For all of these Middle Eastern people, for whom she was foreign and who were unaware of her origins, she was one of the Æsir. So those people called her Asherah, Ashtarte or Isis. But we know her simply as Freyja
"While it is not yet known who Amenemhat was, or the significance of the scarab"
Freyja means Lady. Scarab = ladybird

Well, ain’t that amazin’. It seems that the more we learn, the more we realize we really don’t know, and that what cosmology and archeology have been selling as fact, while well intentioned, may be wrong. I’ll not be surprised to find that the beliefs of many other ‘scientific’ disciplines are wrong as well. Neutrinos are the smallest huh? It hasn’t been too long ago that we were taught that atoms were the smallest building blocks of the universe. I expect some expert – or more likely a dedicated amateur with no pre-concieved notions – will find something smaller.

Given the age of this site, you can bet that there will not be a single mention of Muhammed anywhere - because the Muhammed backstory of Islam was created by Arab rulers 200 years after his death. The conquest of Jerusalem was likely entirely Arabic and not divinely inspired and led by Islam.

Ok NEWBS - the tale is METAOHORIC it's about the ills of ALCOHOLISM - the flood is being drunk...the family are the 7 chakras - the amount of time is the age of wisdom 40 days etc equals 40 years ....the animals 2 by 2 is BINAH - BINARY old word for WISDOM ...the mountains name is an old greek word ARARRAT meaning to DRY UP - alcoholic dehydration
The meaning of the tale is the last line
And in the END God gave Noah the GIFT of the vine and he was drunk for the rest of his days.

Easily explainable African cattle are known to be susceptible to naturally occurring anthrax....the Flys and Frogs follow.
The Red Nile is metaphoric as ALL WATER IS RED since its resonate wave length is NEAR INFA RED
The RED SEA parting is METAPHORIC and never happened
The entire series of tales was created by Scribe Priests during the Babylonian Captivity to their Persian Overseers - under archaic Persian laws People of a DISTINCT ORIGIN that is a nation- not just desert tribes - were allowed RELIGIOUS HOLIDAYS time off work and FEAST DAYS more time off work and those involved in Priestly duties were allowed to Carry them out.
THUS the Nation of Israel was created NOT by an act of god and Moses leading people to the promised land- in reality they were just Bonded workers paid in grain salt and free housing...when the Egyptian government collapsed they moved to the Scrub Hills east of Gaza and became the Bandits of the Hills of Judea robbing merchant caravans.
The Persian Babylonian empire Swept all of that aside and they were enslaved..... but a few educated Scribes got together and created an ORIGIN TALE for the persians which was good enough to gain them NATION STATUS as an original people....feast days holy days and after 400 years released.
Unless you consider the Peizio electric effect of the North african rift zone going through the Jordan Valley the GOD OF ISRAEL.

So what I’m wondering is what kind of wolf it actually is! It’s obviously not a gray Wolf and very unlikely it’s a dire wolf because of it’s huge size. Dire wolves were around the same size as a large timber wolf, only more muscular and with thicker bones. This wolf, whatever it is, was about the size of a horse.

  • Reply to: Murder in the Paleolithic? Proof of Ancient Homicide Deduced By Forensic Archaeology   4 years 10 months ago
    Comment Author: Loki 32801

As a former student of Anthropology, it has always puzzled me how assertions are made about the past from so little physical evidence. Instead of being infatic about the past from a single bit information regarding an archeological find, why aren't all possible scenarios presented? Murder is not the only possibility here. This is similar to when something from the past is discovered and an archeologist doesn't know exactly what its purpose was, so they claim that it must have been used ceremonial purposes or worship of the gods. Are archeologists psychic or something? In this particular situation with the evidence of how skull was crushed, there are two other scenarios that are just as plausible due to the lack of extenuating evidence. 1) A mercy killing due to insufferable injuries sustained from a hunting expedition, like being gourd by a giant cow (auroch/bos primigenius). Or, irreparable injuries from a number of other situations. 2) The fractures to this skull could have been a result of combat with a rival tribe or in-fighting for tribal leadership. The point is: the only thing this bit of evidence can prove, without other supporting forensic evidence, is that the 33,000 year old individual sustained fatal injuries to the head caused by blunt force. Why is it that archeologists feel that they have the psychic ability to extrapolate beyond the physical evidence and make up some story that would be thrown out of a courtroom before the trial begins? What superhuman ability do they have to make up these stories? Why don't they simply present the evidence and then admit beyond that, they simply do not know what happened or in other cases how an artifact/structure was used? Present all possible scenarios, unless of course, there is supporting evidence to make claims to a specific theory. Murder, combat...sure, we know humans can be evil; but we can also be merciful. I like promoting the latter of the two! Which dog do you feed?

Hi, I am not an armchair archeologist. I actually went into the field and erected first a 3.5-ton then a 16-ton obelisk and built three pyramids using wind as the motive force. As part of our field research, we used lard (animal fat) to try to reduce friction. It was an epic failure. Sand and soil stuck to the fat, and actually increased the friction.

There are frogs in Canada that freeze solid every winter & thaw out every spring. There were also seeds in the pyramids that did nothing (else they would have exhausted their store of energy) for 3000 years & then were able to germinate. This proves that all of our definitions of life (e.g. see Lynn Margulis' What Is Life?) are wrong.

Neat! I'd love to see some of those really ancient written languages that we haven't been able to make heads or tails of - like Linear A, Rongorongo, the Olmec writing, etc., translated. I'm sure they'd give us amazing insight on those cultures. There's only so much that we can glean and guess from even extensive archaeological work, since we're looking at things from a modern perspective and a limited knowledge of their knowledge.

Belief is a funny thing, some people just have beliefs that will not be changed regardless of the body of evidence. Religions are good examples, in spite of or because of events occurring (or not), there will be some who fervently believe, and some that just as vehemently oppose it.

Humans are a very deceptive species and Americans and the West are worst of all. Why would anyone try to conflate doubting Americans’ achievements to other issues that have nothing to do with this one?

This article does nothing to show a well balanced side of the arguments. From the title, it assumes without proof that people who doubt the moonlanding have nothing to say. Perhaps, there are more important issues in the world than this one. Maybe, doubters of the moonlanding feel there is no use arguing with trolls and people too mentally challenged to look at all of the evidence.

Some of the most damning is the fact that the moon’s surface appears nothing like it is depicted by the USA. In both the Chinese moon rover and a Soviet satellite, the moon has a reddish surface.

    There are other problems, for examples: the censorship of Stanley Kubrik’s admission that he directed the moonlanding that was long on the internet, but now can’t be found, and the fact that it was replaced with a fake;

Spacesuit not matching the prints depicted on film.

The lack of there being enough fuel to get back to earth on the return craft.

The fact that the USA says they threw away all the technology they used to get to the moon.

The fact that doonbuggies would have been of exorbitant cost to transport there and that there was not yet the battery technology to run them as they were supposedly being run.

Nobody can find any of the trash on the moon that had to have been left there.

There are also problems with the censorship of there being found a large alien colony on the dark side of the moon.

We should not be arguing about things that were paid for with our tax dollars.

Those who disagree should unite to demand the transparency from their government needed by the population to have an effective democracy. People fighting about issues like this is exactly the division wanted by those who want to keep us in the dark and fight against our best interests.
