Maybe in these days with all the research and such we know about some of the people who were erased, so in the long run it was indeed not effective.
But in the years following the erasing, people would have forgotten very quicly.
In case of a pharao it may have taken a generation or two, but as I can imagine that it was also forbidden to talk about these erased people, I think it would have been pretty effective.
To me, Andrew Collins makes a very convincing argument that Atlantis was centered around present day Cuba. Many submerged ruins in the Caribbean seem to point at some sort of advanced civilization there in antiquity.
Who knows how the landscape look like so many years ago, and maybe the river of Sahara had a opening to the MED sea in Libya. The posibility is there…??
There is no need to wonder whether civilization or agriculture came first. There were likely areas with enough natural grain and game where hunter-gatherers just stayed and harvested. The rest followed.

Anatomically, in consideration of our long fingernails and straight flowing hair, human ancestors almost certainly went directly from the water to the trees, bypassing flat ground living. The long fingernails would work well for plucking fruits, fish and crabs, as well as defense, and the long hair for concealment.
While this short missive on the subject is fascinating, I get the feeling after reading the attributions that this is a cut and paste job from another website.
It’s the same thing today, innocent, foolish Aryans allowing their children to be exploit by the ruthless ancestors of the Roman and Persian devils. Beyond the brothels of enslaved girls, let’s not forget all the young boys captured, castrated and made into servants.
Would have been easier for the seafaring Atlanteans to travel (via Gilbralter) to the Med coasts by boat than over land. Then also makes sense that they traveled up the Atlantic coast of Europe and even made it across the Atlantic. Richat was almost certainly the base of operations. Why are modern scholars/archaeologists/geologists all over this? (We know why.)

Why don’t depictions of the early human ancestors include long fingernails, which would have been very useful for plucking food and personal defense?
