Aside from only being a high school student in Lake Washington High, Kartal Kaya is an explorer and archeologist of the cities: Palmyra, Ephesus, Catalhoyuk, Trebizond, Sinop, Antioch, Knossos and etc.,  polyglot of the languages: English, Arabic, Spanish, Turkish and Latin, and the  author of: Weight, A Glimpse of Anatolia and Correct History of Rome. From a young age, Kartal has had an interest in history and literature, writing short stories since kindergarten. His writing and exploring still continues to this day.
