My passion for studying history began in my teenage years. At some point, I began to gradually become interested in the Roman Empire. Perhaps it was largely thanks to such a wonderful work as Rome: Total War. About 13 years have passed since then. Initially, my knowledge base was formed from various documentaries and series, then it was articles. Over time, I moved on to books, chronicles, and archival documents.
At the moment , I am studying the incomes of the population in Rome and medieval Europe. It seems to me that this topic is not widely covered and not sufficiently highlighted for society. I am also very interested in the lifestyle and daily life of people of that time. The best help in studying these topics comes from European archives (the British Archives) or, for example, the Library of Congress in the USA. They contain information on incomes, payment of duties and fees, and much more that can give a rough idea. There are also many wonderful books on the economy of the ancient world and open sources based on the same archives. Earlier, I was interested in battles and the accomplishments of great people, but now I am more interested in how much their subordinates earned, how they lived, how they cultivated the land, how much their weapons and tools cost, how difficult their lives were, how much time was needed to buy armor and weapons, what were the relations with neighboring peoples, and so on. I graduated from college, obtaining a degree as a mechanical technician.
