Gerasimos was born in Athens. He has been painting for more than 30 years, mostly professionally. In 1983-86 he studied arts in Europe and specifically: In 1984, seminars of history of Arts and L. MAXIMILIAN UNIVERSITAT in Munich, in 1985, seminars of history of art and the ‘Universita Per Stranieri’ at Perugia, and between 1985 and 1986m he studied painting and sketching at the ‘Scuola Dell Nudo’ of the Academy of Di Belle Arte Firenze and engraving at the workshop of professor Manfredi. In 1991-92, he continued his studies in sketching at the workshop of T. Riga in Athens.
