A Cambridge based Engineer in electronics, Robin’s other main lifelong interest is ancient history. With three decades experience in problem solving in Engineering, it’s too much temptation to apply those skills to unsolved mysteries. In particular the Phaistos Disc has been undeciphered for over a century, provoking an irresistible challenge. Tackled unsuccessfully as a linguistic problem, Robin’s Engineering background provides a fresh approach, and this has proved fruitful with an intriguing new interpretation on this cryptic ancient artifact.
