The Monumental Fall of Babylon: What Really Shattered the Empire? (Video)

Print

The fall of Babylon was one of the most momentous events in ancient history. The conquest of Babylon by the Achaemenid Empire, led by Cyrus the Great, marked the end of the Neo-Babylonian Empire.

The event was immortalized by several ancient sources, including the Cyrus Cylinder, the famous Greek historian Herodotus and the books of the Old Testament. Using these sources, we can take a closer look at what really contributed to the fall of Babylon and the ancient prophecy that foretold this momentous event.

Babylon continues in the Biden Administration along with the same sins, crimes and atrocities, just as it has for centuries beforehand.

However, the control is so tight that the majority of Americans who espouse the truth expressed in the previous sentence usually fall into one of two camps.

The first camp is for Trumpist MAGA Q-followers. The second is for Fascist Adolf-followers. Both camps hate each other as much as the hate modern Babylon. Both see the other as being controlled by modern Babylon.

Both are correct in that regard and completely wrong about their own side. Both sides are part of the division for conquest. The political scene is primarily divided into the fake construction of left and right, then the halves are halved and halved again, until we have warring factions with cultish beliefs where, within the camp, only the highest leadership understand what is going on.

Those who have come to understand the situation from without are few and far between. I do not fit that status, for I was not always outside of Babylon, theoretically at least. It was that experience which underpins what I write.

Uncontrolled voices, when heard, are routinely misunderstood. To a Fascist, a rare true Christian sounds like a Trumpist. To a Trumpist, a rare true Christian sounds like a Fascist or, in both cases, a Democrat troll, despite being none of these. Evangelicalism muddies the waters further, as does armed patriotism. The goal is that those who see may see just enough to be confused and misinformed.

Do not confuse the historical fall of Babylon with the actual fall of Babylon. The latter is yet to happen. Humanity seems incapable of bringing it on without total destruction, for there are none so blind as those who refuse to see, including those who barely squint.

When ruins are resettled, then later abandoned, it can get confusing.  But the question is, who built the ruins that were resettled?  Not the mud brick makers.

Nobody gets paid to tell the truth.
