Maria Wheatley is a writer, dowser and researcher of earth mysteries specializing in the geodetic system of earth energies and ley lines.  She organizes regular tours of sacred sites and medieval churches and cathedrals in the South West of England to locate and interact with the monument’s hidden energies. Her late father was considered a Master Dowser who discovered the hidden chakra system within Glastonbury Abbey and how it was ritualistically used by the Royal Bloodline.  For the past ten years Maria has continued researching the many ways in which our prehistoric ancestors harnessed and utilized the Earth Force. Her thought-provoking explanation of how ley lines originally channelled light into megalithic temples, and how standing stones sited upon certain circular patterns of earth energy absorb and transmit the Earth Force challenges our perception of ancient sites. http://www.theaveburyexperience.co.uk/megalithic.html

Maria has studied Landscape Archaeology with the University of Bath in Swindon, has written holistic diploma courses for the British School of Yoga, teaches reflexology, dowsing and past life regression for Swindon College and is co-author of Avebury Sun Moon and Earth a popular book which reveals the many ley lines and earth energies which were skilfully integrated into the megalithic architecture of Avebury Henge, a gigantic megalithic power centre in Wiltshire, England which contains the world’s largest stone circle.

She has appeared on the History Channel, http://www.theaveburyexperience.co.uk/earthenergy.html BBC radio and numerous internet radio shows and has lectured for the British Society of Dowsers, she regularly gives talks and presentations for dowsing and spiritual groups in the UK. Maria has also written numerous articles for Prediction Magazine and the British Astrological Journal.

Maria’s latest book Divining Ancient Sites – insights into their creation  explores the geospiral pattern in detail alongside other fascinating earth and ley energies and how the Earth can heal us.

Maria also teaches how to identify earth energy patterns and flows through distant learning and practical workshops. www.theaveburyexperience.co.uk

You will not find many of us in the Christian Covenant; but God of All is not afraid of His Own Energies. ... Michael Tellenger's work in South Africa got me thinking about this. I hope to learn more and more about your skills in this area. Unfortunately, :giggle: the video doesn't work for me because I'm older, hard of hearing, and I can't cut through your beautiful accent to understand it. :sigh!: I hope we can become better acquainted. Emily Windsor-Cragg, 707-987-2987, and I tried to dial your number in the UK, and it just didn't work.

Our Mission

At Ancient Origins, we believe that one of the most important fields of knowledge we can pursue as human beings is our beginnings. And while some people may seem content with the story as it stands, our view is that there exists countless mysteries, scientific anomalies and surprising artifacts that have yet to be discovered and explained.

The goal of Ancient Origins is to highlight recent archaeological discoveries, peer-reviewed academic research and evidence, as well as offering alternative viewpoints and explanations of science, archaeology, mythology, religion and history around the globe.

We’re the only Pop Archaeology site combining scientific research with out-of-the-box perspectives.

By bringing together top experts and authors, this archaeology website explores lost civilizations, examines sacred writings, tours ancient places, investigates ancient discoveries and questions mysterious happenings. Our open community is dedicated to digging into the origins of our species on planet earth, and question wherever the discoveries might take us. We seek to retell the story of our beginnings.
