Go into Google and check the definition of both of those words. You will find that there is a radical difference in the two.
They would not let me put the links here because of the SPAM filter.

Since I am a Spiritualist, and not a Christian, I understand the difference between the two.

You might want to dig into the more interesting history of the HOPI when a great white traveler was welcomed into the HOPI clans for a brief time. He was well liked. He told them that he would return to visit another time. During the quests of the Spaniards for their gold, they met a HOPI leader. The HOPI leader knowing the legends, thought perhaps this was the White one returning for a visit. So he held out his hand curved face up. The arrogant Spaniard thought he was begging and threw him silver coins. The HOPI knew this was not the great White one. The gesture of the curved palm up hand is that of Nachwach... half of the gesture of a friendship hand shake. The other half is the curved hand with palm down. The fingers latch together in a bond of friendship.
The great White one has yet to visit again on the lands.
Masau u is not the Devil, or Lucifer of the old writings. He is the guardian, not only of the HOPI lands, but the guardian of the underworld. One thing for sure, you respect him when on the HOPI lands. You do not steal from the lands, not even a piece or shard of pottery. You respect the land and the people at all times. Bye the way, I had the great experience of sitting down and comparing notes with the writer Frank Waters, a few years before he died. Very nice fellow. Well respected among the Clans. Your mention of the Force..Probably the closest description of the ways of the universe long before the time of Earth... Until you personally experience a manifestation of a spiritual entity for yourself, you will forever doubt both the real world and the Spirit world. Be very careful of all the priests, pastors, politicians, and those dedicated to a single cause. Learn to test all....test the Spirits....getting past the evil will add to your enlightenment. So I was taught by some great people...and the HOPI.

I just became a member because of this discovery. Looks like a great web site. Anyways it would be interesting to find the granite quarry where these blocks come from. How far away ? Maybe satelite imagery of the area could help to find the quarry in that area. Once the quarry is found would the compass also react irradically there or not. Just food for thought.

    >>consistent record global average temperatures.

Because we are at the top of the PDO and AMO oceanic cycles. These are 60 - 70 year cycles and were at a:

    max in the 30s (hot)
    min in the 70s (cold)
    max in the 00s (hot)

And now they are cooling again. The 30s were as hot as now. You also have to remember that the temperature record has been adjusted to hell and back. There have been 20 or more adjustments to the record, and all of them made the apparent temperature record warmer in recent years. That is why it is now known as the tamperature record, in the trade.

    Masau'u = Messiah
    (You have mispronounced it.)
The Hopi and many other tribes were the "sheep in other lands".
But so called 'Christians', think they have a monopoly on truth, their truth is falling apart now... the Great Falling Away is now upon us.

May the Force be with you.

Your hatred to Muslims is very clear Ron!
Look at US historic and archaeological discoveries that show of the traded slaves anywhere from 40~80% were Muslims. They were forced to become christians by their masters/owners. No one can deny that.
Islam ended slavery at the inception...learn about that. Your hate may cease a little.

Enjoying very much your educated insights into events of the past. It has many relevant points to a topic that I am studying, ie, the effects on the movement and siting of human habitation caused by these global events. I would like to query one aspect, though. When you quote the figure of 195ft, what or where is the starting level. Does it refer to a past indice, the present, or a fluctuating mark?

  • Reply to: A history of sugar – the food nobody needs, but everyone craves   8 years 5 months ago
    Comment Author: Tom Carberry

"Human physiology evolved on a diet containing very little sugar and virtually no refined carbohydrate."

Total BS. Humans crave sugar because humans evolved eating fruit and only fruit, foods replete with fructose. The who idea that the human brain became larger and more sophisticated after humans left the forest flies in the face of the evidence and logic.

The forest provides fantastic nutrition, while the savannah provides terrible nutrition. Humans began eating grasses about 10,000 years ago because of starvation and developed those grasses into our staple foods of today -- rice, wheat, and corn.

Grasses destroy our brains and make us stupid and violent. Humans should not eat rice or wheat, but almost everyone does.

If you want to live a healthy life, eat as much fruit as you can, especially tropical fruit. That will get rid of the cravings for extra sugar.

Sorry, but from where did the "People from above" originate? The Big Bang? Hmm, something out of nothing is rather lame. How about the scientifically proven multiple dimensions? How did they come about? Too many "not yet known s" ... why are you limiting yourself to Star Track?

  • Reply to: The Sumerian King List Reveals the Origin of Mesopotamian Kingship   8 years 5 months ago
    Comment Author: M. Komar

Why is it so difficult to acknowledge the possibility that beings from another dimension came from "heaven" and, as per Genesis 6, had the technology to be able to mate with humans? After all, we, humans, are currently capable of doing some weird genetic engineering also. I think most of our scientist have swallowed the theory of evolution to the point where they can't think outside that box. So, anything that doesn't fit their timeline must be a myth and is relegated to the impossible. Conviction before thorough investigation, with a bow to the not yet knowable, is a fool's game.

People leave trash behind, though, especially around dwellings. That there's no broken bits of stuff suggests it was either unoccupied, or only used by people with very minimal possessions.

As I noted elsewhere, it may have been built in response to a threat that ended about the time it was completed.

It does roughly match with the beginning Medieval Warm Period.

It's also possible it was built against a threat that then went away--invading ruler died, etc. Scandinavia has hill forts that were in use for less than half a century.

The first written account of ANY kind from the town dates from a whole century later. The fact that there is no written record of the event in a town that did not keep written records is totally unremarkable.

That is a bad analysis. For folktales in which children are harmed and adults are punished, see for example Aarne-Thompson type 720: "my mother slew me, my father ate me", most famously seen in The Juniper Tree.
